David Engelsberg ...(STAY AWAY)... is the absolute worst dentist I have ever visited, I ignored…read moreother bad reviews about this dentist because he was very close to my home [my tragic and costly mistake]. If you just need a tooth pulled - fine go see him. But if you need dentures as I did, or something more serious STAY AWAY. I cannot warn you enough about this dentist, he cares about nothing but your money. My denture is so badly fit that when I eat it moves all around my mouth, I can't bite down on anything - without them pulling away, even when glued down with enough adhesive to fill an entire teaspoon. He told me to "bite and chew from the side of my mouth" and refused to correct the problem at all!! REFUSED. Now I am having another denture made and I am seriously contemplating a lawsuit against his dental office. He charged me over $4100 just for the top plate denture and a temporary, however, I ended up only owning one denture plate which is practically unusable without an enormous amount of adhesive denture cream. I feel as though I have been robbed of my $4100 the same as if it was a thug on the street. I must add that the staff at this office is warm, helpful, and wonderful people to be around. D.J. Florio

thought I had done enough research to find what would hopefully be my dental office…read more I searched the reviews, and after reading about how friendly the staff was, how amazing the doctor was, and also the fact that they understand about people with anxiety about going to the dentist.. I thought I had found my place I must say that I did more research prior to my appointment. What I did read in many reviews was the fact that they try to "sell" you a treatment plan. People had unknowingly signed agreements and charged thousands of dollars. When I called to make my appointment, I explained that I needed a cleaning And that I wanted to establish myself as a new patient in their dental office. Today was my appointment day. I was taken in a timely manner, and everyone seem to be friendly and welcoming. The x-ray tech took a series of x-rays. Subsequently the doctor came in to discuss the findings of my x-rays. Typically, in the past, the dentist would show me the x-rays and explain to me exactly where my issues were. She did not do this, but told me that there were issues that could only be addressed with a deep cleaning and continued maintenance. I told her I was not interested in that at this time, and I had only come in for a routine cleaning. She totally disregarded what I had said because her next statement was that someone would be coming in to discuss my treatment plan. Another person enters the room and says that the person would be coming in a few minutes to discuss my treatment plan. When I told her I would not be having any treatments other than a cleaning, she told me I would have to sign a paper saying that I refuse to have the treatments! I asked her when the hygienist would be in to do my cleaning. She then proceeded to tell me that today's visit was not to do my cleaning it was only to establish myself as a new patient! She also told me they could not possibly do my cleaning today because the hygienist wasn't in!! I'm sure if I had agreed to the treatment plan, that a hygienist would suddenly appear. At that point, I told her I had wasted enough of my time, and that it was wrong that I was told I was having a cleaning at this appointment. I got up and walked out. I had my guard up regarding their so-called treatment plans because of the reviews that I had read. I wasted a whole morning, my commute to get there, my time getting the x-rays, meeting with the doctor, etc., all to leave without a cleaning!! Don't waste your time going here unless you have time to waste and money to throw away!

I ( a twenty-two year-old female ) am the older sister to my seventeen-year-old brother who had a routine cleaning. This was our first time here and my mother, who works full-time, asked me to take him to his appointment because she wasn't available to do so. She filled out all required paperwork and was told by the "office manager" that she would receive a document so that I could take him to his appointment with her approval. However, we were informed when pulling up to the building over the phone that we were not allowed to come to the appointment because I was not his legal guardian. I asked if my mother could give approval over the phone or fill out anything needed over the computer, considering she still hadn't received said document, so he could still attend his cleaning. With a very pompous and snarky attitude, she implied my mother was stupid and said she needs to fill out the paperwork in house. SHE WAS NEVER INFORMED ABOUT THIS PRIOR TO THE APPOINTMENT! My mother called the office to provide approval however necessary and the "office manager" laughed at her and belittled. Upon confronting hoping for some resolution in the office due to the extreme disrespect we faced, the "office manager" dismissed and embarrassed us once again offending our mother. This facility had potential for four new patients but lost us due to the actions of the "office manager" today. Don't expect to go here with questions or any confusion because you will be met with "mean girl" behavior.
