I honestly don't know how they get good reviews on Google. Check Yelp before you hire them. The…read more"Landscapers" they use are not Landscapers. There were major language barriers and work not done when they said they would do it. Countless times, I asked them to make sure to pull weeds that were everywhere, they would say they would do it but never did, they would just leave. I had to ask multiple times for them to trim dead palm fronds just hanging from the trees, still they didn't do it. The only thing they did well was blow leaves. I continued to use them thinking I would try different approaches with them on how to take care of the lawn but nothing was working. I finally ended the contract with them. That following weekend, I did all the maintenance, there was enough trimming, weeds, etc. to fill 7 trash bins. Stay clear.

Over the past 14 years, starting out with 12 small to large Oak trees, we have used several…read moredifferent Tree services to maintain and remove trees. I have had relatively good experience with most of them. Last month our 8 remaining mature trees were way over-due for trimming, and the smallest one was in poor condition and needed to be removed. I called Gheovanni Castillo and one other highly rated company for estimates. Gheovanni came out and quickly pointed out what he would cut, and the equipment he would use to do the job. The other estimator relied more on me pointing out what I wanted cut and we discussed his equipment also. When I got both estimates the decision to chose Castillo was easy, for several reasons; Significantly lower price, Availability within next week, and his use of a Spider Lift, which is much less intrusive than a boom truck, and so much safer than climbing! Gheovanni came with a crew of 5 as he promised a did a great job quickly and cleanly. I rate Castillo Tree Service the best I have dealt with! Highly Recommended! R. Gamble Venice FL

We were approached at our home by a man named Josh who claimed to be a business partner of a tree…read moreservice company. He was soliciting work Because we had two very large dead oak trees in our front yard. At first, Josh appeared, professional and knowledgeable, and he assured us that he could have a crew and equipment on site immediately. He pressured us to pay in full before any word began stating that he needed the money to secure rental equipment and pay his workers. Against our better judgment, and because he insisted this was the only acceptable form of payment for a job. This size we paid him $14,500 in cash. Within within an hour, the crew arrived and began cutting. Not even 30 minutes into the job a large branch was dropped, crushing our shed and damaging our well system. Immediately after causing the damage, the crew packed up and left the property without explanation and never returned. We attempted to contact Josh multiple times, but he refuses to answer or take responsibility. We filed a report with the sheriffs office, but were told it is considered a civil matter. At this point it feels like we are dealing with a clear case of fraud yet as the saying goes, you can't get blood from a stone.
