Located in the former beloved Russo's space, the owners of Mega-Bev kept some of the gourmet grocery items and deli space in their new store. It's pretty genius to me - you can get everything you need for your party or picnic here. They have a ton of variety and I was overwhelmed looking at everything. We ended up getting a mixed 6 pack of some interesting drinks I've never seen before, which is always fun. You get a discount for making a 6 pack! The person who rang up our purchases was super friendly and let us know about some interesting new products. I don't make it to this part of town that often, but it's definitely a great spot if you need some booze!

They have a good selection of hot food, which I was surprised by (even though maybe I shouldn't have been) since it was in a small town (but I am now realizing most small town spots would have hot food from personal travels). So many complaints spots but not positive feedback! Moving on to Ally wow what a wonder customer service attendant. Being in customer service for 30 years and in management I was so impressed. She performed her job well with no complaint! Most importantly she welcomed me coming in the door smiled and assisted me in finding what I came in for. It's so important to make people feel welcomed especially since she was the first person I seen after waking and leaving my hotel. She assured I had everything I needed and because of her I didn't need to stop anywhere else on my trip home. I did let Ms Ally know how very greatful and how appreciative I was to feel so important at a gas station. She is an example of what customer service should represent. I'm glad I decided on this store as it had just what I needed and I was also able to pick up some Twisted Tea for myself. What I really liked about this store was the selection of the individual cans of Twisted Teas and other drinks that were similar. I didn't notice if wine or hard liquor was available as I was focused on the teas and beer. The store was bright and spacious and the gal working the counter was very helpful. Today she was rude and I believe it is because I was with my same spouse. She has deliberately discriminated against us on several occasions. This is no way to run a business. I was buying beer. I am 62 years old and my spouse is 50. She insisted that she see both our IDs. I didn't mind when she asked for mine but refused to let my spouse show his. I have been in the store several times and I have never witnessed this with any other customers.
