Dr. Dufford returned my call promptly and he was very kind and understanding to my situation as usual. Sadly, Dr. Dufford was not able to fit me in as a returning patient at the time that I called, Dr. Dufford instead gave me a referral to two other Psychologists that specialize in treating the Complex PTSD that I suffer from and was recently diagnosed with. Dr. Michelle Chabbot was the Psychologist that I first reached out to following the multiple traumatic events that led to my Complex PTSD diagnoses and that caused my PTSD Panic Attack. I study Psychology myself, and I was very shaken when I contacted Dr. Chabbot, as I'd never experienced at PTSD Panic Attack before, and I never even knew that someone could suffer from something as terrible as a PTSD Panic Attack. Dr. Chabbot answered the phone immediately, and she was kind and caring enough to take the time to help me immediately. She even answered some emergency questions that I had regarding my recent Complex PTSD diagnoses and the PTSD Panic Attack that I suffered. Dr. Chabbot did all of this for me during her time off on the weekend, when she was out of town on vacation. Talking with Dr. Chabbot, meant so very much to me. I immediately felt comfortable with Dr. Chabbot and I immediately knew that I was in good hands with regards to finding help to treat my Complex PTSD Disability. I'll be continuing my treatment with Dr. Chabbot moving forward, and I'll be sure to update my review along the way as well. I can tell Dr. Chabbot is an extremely gifted and knowledgeable Psychologist, and she is exceptionally knowledgeable and gifted in the area of PTSD especially. Please do not hesitate to reach out to Dr. Chabbot/Dr. Dufford, if you are ever in need. I also urge anyone reading this to reach out to Dr. Dufford/Dr. Chabbot if you are in any need of mental healthcare. It's vital to seek the aid of a Psychologist if you've ever experienced going through a traumatic life event (such as a car accident, workplace discrimination, domestic violence, Ableist bullying, really anything that happens that is traumatic in life, can potentially lead to PTSD I'm told. On top of this, in my own personal experience, PTSD appears to me to be a self fueling condition/ mental illness/disability, meaning that PTSD can worsen over time, if left untreated. What this means is that, it's vital to seek the help of a qualified mental healthcare professional immediately following a traumatic life event. If one doesn't immediately get the treatment that one needs, ones PTSD could quickly worsen, that and one could easily develop "layers" of PTSD, from multiple traumatic events as well. In addition to this, PTSD can also VERY QUICKLY develop into a life threatening condition/mental illness/disability, so please don't ever hesitate to get seek immediate help. Even if you just suspect you might need help, then immediately seek out that help as your mental health can quickly worsen, leaving you in a life threatening situation.

We initially contacted Patrice to learn new tools how to approach our preschooler when facing any difficulties. From the first visit, we could see Dr. Patrice was a super star with kids. Our preschooler loves going to see her. She helped us to learn how to provide positives in a way that motivate the children any parent could benefit for. We loved the fact she was good with our son, helped with team parenting and also has effective individual skills. She did it through the play so for our son it felt like a playdate! It was a positive experience to go to her office as Dr. Wolters is bright, skilled and fun! Every time we went she had some new activity--games of many sorts even presents to take home! I do not know any provider who would go so far to make sure that the child felt so comfortable and engaged! She has a strong interest in helping kids develop the traits of resiliency or giving directions in an effective way. Overall Dr. Wolters is a knowledgeable, reliable and skilled professional who clearly loves working with her patients. Dr. Wolters is very confident and challenged us in a way that was supportive. Our family highly recommend her!

That being said, over time we had reached a point where certain behaviors had led us to an impasse, and our combined decision was to divorce. After an internet research, we found Dr Wolters. Her web site was super informative, straight forward and very professional. We were able to get an appointment quickly. Dr. Wolters had us immediately talking, discovering and exploring thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and in a way that I had never practiced before. She taught, and is teaching us how to "face" or "tolerate" the uncomfortable and to sit with those feelings. Although this is so hard to do, over time it becomes easier to do and extremely rewarding. As a result we were better able to understand ourselves, and our feelings which led to clear communication. We learned many techniques and methods to continue our growth in our marriage and personally. Dr. Wolters is a strong therapist who does not allow us to practice old habits, but instead guides and supports us in our growing relationship. I love that she is so current and knowledgeable in the latest techniques and studies throughout her field, including brain fitness and personal growth. My wife and I are now exercising regularly, going on dates, trying new things, and communicating more often and clearly as ever. Thanks to Dr. wolters I have continued my path to personal growth, which has in turn invigorated my marriage. Best of all, Dr Wolters has saved my marriage. My wife and I have found a new intimacy and thoughts of divorce are long behind us.

I couldn't believe I got such a great therapist right away. His office was a comfortable retreat and Jasper was such a positive force for me which is exactly what I needed. He helped me see that anxiety was not dangerous and there was nothing to fear. He also helped me with sleep issues. Jasper provided me with the tools to change my mindset to be more positive. After 2 1/2 short months I feel so much better. You better believe if I need to see a therapist for stress and worry, I'll be looking up Jasper again. I highly recommend both Dr. Dufford and Jasper. I had never heard of the field of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and so I was not sure of what to expect. It turned out that this is the field specializing in the thoughts of the mind and the emotional impact it has especially when it is negative. One comment that Jasper made that made an impact for me was "Don't believe everything your mind tells". He walked me through the Thought Diary and I diligently documented my thoughts, triggers, and consequences followed by the detective work that assessed the truth of that thought or its falsity, leading to a balanced thinking and avoiding unhelpful thinking patterns. He also gave me good references and articles for my personality helping me to understand the double-edged nature of thoughts and reframe to stay positive and make the most out of the circumstance. I cannot thank Jasper enough for what he did for me.
