We've never used a tax preparer before, but this year was a bit more complicated with multiple jobs (including independent contract work) across multiple states and split residencies, and it was too much for us to do ourselves. Val was very knowledgeable, gave us an extremely reasonable quote, and got us a far greater return than we were expecting. Both Val and Sue were very friendly and helpful throughout the process, and we would gladly utilize their services again.

I was referred to Mr. Hanson by a cousin whom Mike had just gotten sole custody of his son for him, and yes, I said his, which as everyone knows rarely happens. I was going through a divorce after 33 years with a cheating wife. She was entitled to 1/2 of everything, to include my Army pension. Before he took my case he actually told me that I needed to think hard about this because he knew I still loved her, but about a month later I had to go through with it. From day one he helped me through the process, returned my calls within minutes, unless he was in court, and got me a lot better deal than I thought I would get. No loss of pension, and only about 1/3 of our assets, which after 33 years I felt was fair. Mike Hanson is a great lawyer, and in the 3 years since my divorce I have called him for advice on 2 other cases, but unfortunately they are out of state. I highly recommend him.
