The family was a bit testy before the session, but once Jacquelynn arrived she set us all at ease- expertly coordinating toddlers, teenagers, and parents. When we came to view the photos to choose our images, my wife started to cry tears of joy (apparently a common occurrence with Jacquelynn's clients). My wife said it was the best our family had ever looked. Jacquelynn captured amazing shots of everyone, but most impressive are the photos of our eldest handicapped son- by far the best portraits of him I have ever seen. I want to thank Jacquelynn for supporting our local charity fundraiser "Derby Day the Peoples Way" for the 2nd year in a row!! This year her generous raffle donation helped us raise over $7000 toward the Tucson Musicians Museum. We are grateful... and encourage folks to choose Photography by Jacquelynn Buck and support generous professionals that get involved like her!

I am so disappointed in our experience with my sons newborn photos…read more We were asked in an email what props we would be bringing, as my husband wanted a photo with a specific football. Aside from that, Jennifer completely did what she wanted to do--poses that we didn't even ask for and that she did not ask our opinion on. I really wanted a photo of myself and the baby and one of my husband and the baby. I had to ask for both of these but there was only time to do one with me and the baby and I do not like how it turned out. I asked for a pose that was similar to one that Jennifer had done before but it did not turn out right. Also, there is no photo with my husband and the baby. She also put crochet pants on our son in some photos instead of wrapping him up. It does not look good to us and people have asked me why he's wearing them. Again she did not ask for our opinion. We couldn't find our pacifier and my husband told her he wanted to find ours, after she offered her spare one. She ended up giving our son her spare pacifier despite us telling her we wanted to find ours. We were upset about this. We were told the photos would be available at the beginning of the following week. On that Tuesday we got an email saying they were done and asking what our mailing address was. Jennifer had told us during the shoot that she can send them through Dropbox and I told her that was great because I use Dropbox. I emailed back with my mailing address but also asked if they could still be sent through Dropbox since that is what was discussed. I received no reply. That Saturday my husband called to inquire where the photos were since they were not received yet after we were told they were done. It was then that he found out they were not mailed yet. Jennifer then said she'd send them to Dropbox right away. The pictures were not centered and most were not edited. I actually ended up centering them myself. The lighting is terrible. In our family photo there's a shadow on my husband's face meanwhile my face is too bright. Our famous football photo isn't even worth printing because part of the word "Super Bowl" on the football is glared and can't be seen. I also feel as though our baby was a bit too old to sit as still as she wanted him to. She mentioned that he was "fussy" but in reality he was over 2 weeks old. A 16 day old baby is much more alert than a baby who is days younger. Jennifer did call us back to retake one picture that wasn't working out on our original shoot date since he was "fussy" and that was nice of her but overall everything else was disappointing.

I got TOTALLY SWINDLED by Bob Hitchcock for over $2000!!…read more I encourage everyone to read the other YELP reviews. I wish I had. Obviously several people have had the same experience. Very out dated and primitive business practices. Very poorly posed - mediocre pictures. Unrealistic Fees. I hired Bob Hitchcock to take photos of my family when we all were together for the first time ever - Can't express how important this was to all of us!! My two grown children, their spouses, my 3 grandchildren, my Husband and Myself. Bob told me, when I inquired 3 separate times, that I could get the Digital Disc of the photos if I placed a 'Minimum Order'. I had planned on ordering many photos so it never occurred to me that I wouldn't meet the 'Minimum Order' requirement. I assumed that I would view the photos on a website or he would provide me with proofs to make my selection. Not so - He came to my house after we took the photos, showed me the photos on his laptop. (they were going to need to be Photo Shopped for many reasons.) Some of them weren't even in focus. He quickly flipped back and forth through the photos on his computer. I had no idea that he expected me to make my selection at that time - from those unedited photos. I never had the opportunity to privately look at proofs or to compare the best pose of each person to use for his photo shopping. BOB HAD ME PLACE MY ORDER THAT NIGHT AND THAT'S WHEN HE INFORMED ME THAT THE MINIMUM ORDER TO GET THE DIGITAL COPY WAS $2000!!!! $2000! I expressed my disbelief and my husband had to step in after that because I couldn't even grasp what was going on. I have HUGE buyers remorse and feel sick every time I look at that photo. We ended up ordering several copies of a single pose that Bob was going to "do his Photo Shop Magic on". that way at least I would get the digital copy to hopefully fix some of the photos myself. Bob's 'Magic' on the photo was ridiculous. All the photos he had made for us went in the garbage. To add insult to injury.....My son and his family of 5 had their family pics (re)taken yesterday. Not a bad photo in the bunch, many different poses and creative ideas. Left the place with the Digital Disc in hand. $65. Our pictures were awful and I can't turn back time to have the opportunity to retake them. That alone is un-repairable. If I had wasted even a few hundred dollars on this it would be easier for me to get over it but.... $2000. Wish I would have shown him to the door and cut my losses.
