The weather outside was cold and rainy but the inside was stunning, I completely forgot about the weather. The service was impeccable, the waitress being extremely professional yet warm. I had the Tagliolini nero Tajskie and it did not disappoint! It was so beautiful I almost didn't want to eat it. While the menu said it was spicy, I did not agree with that, however since Polish food isn't spicy, I can see why they added the little chili pepper on the menu. I also ordered the Japanese Spritz. It was so yummy and refreshing and of course the presentation was fantastic as well! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a really nice meal!

The waitress was very friendly at first and attended our aperitivo order promptly. Next we ordered a bottle of Italian red and the starters - the starters came about 30 minutes later and only at that point the waitress informed that the wine we ordered had finished. Instead we picked the most expensive red they had on the menu and without saying, assumed she'd come with it right away. Only this was not the case as she decided to forget the order and concentrated on serving the group of 6 local, high-end customers sitting next to us instead. The wine finally arrived about 15 minutes later, just in time for us having finished the starters. If this was a bit disappointing it was nothing to the wait we had laid ahead. It took over an hour for the main dishes to arrive. Of course, this would've been understandable if they were busy but they were not, actually quite the opposite as most of the guests had already finished their meals. We politely asked the waitress several times about the order; every time having her smiling and telling it's just going to be two more minutes. At this stage my partner was so pissed he wanted to leave but as we were both starving (and tipsy, finished the red while waiting for the food) I convinced we should stay - it'd take forever to place an order somewhere else now. The food finally came - and it was nothing special. I had lamb and my partner fish, both OK but really, nothing I'd go ahead and recommend to anyone. The size of the plates was also rather small, a detail that just added to this oh-so positive dining experience.... Overall, it seemed they didn't care to serve us properly due to the obvious - we were tourists and hence, it doesn't matter. Wrong! It does matter. Did see how much emphasis the staff put into serving the next table and that just made us both feel really bad and angry - whether it was racism, lack of interest or just purely unprofessional service, I recommend to pick another place for your dinner. All they want at Czarna Owca is your money without offering any value to it in return. Wrong way of doing business overall, I'd say. The wine was good though. But that's thanks to Italian winemaking, not to this horrible, horrible place and dishonest, unfriendly and horrid staff.
I would recommend the chestnut cremé bruleé!
