Communication was good and arrived right on time for both the written estimate they came out and gave me as well as the crew who arrived at 07:59 am (one minute early) to remove the trees and grind a few old stumps. My worst fears were realized when a large branch fell and damaged my fence and garden shed. Instead of taking responsibility, the crew leader was dismissive and implied it was unavoidable. Santos tree service was excellent!!! They removed two very beautiful big pine trees from my property. The trees were growing on a small hill that were slanted towards mine in my neighbor's home for safety reasons I made the decision to have them cut down and the stumps grinded. Service was excellent !! They arrived when they said they would. They worked very safe and efficiently I would recommend Santos for all your tree services. They had all their mess cleaned up nothing left behind. The crew was very hardworking and respectful to my property also with me. The communication between everyone was excellent. Terrible Service and Even Worse Customer CareI recently had the misfortune of hiring Santos Tree Service to handle some tree removal and trimming work on my property, and I can confidently say it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a service provider.First off, they were extremely unprofessional from the get-go. They arrived late without any prior notice, leaving me waiting for hours. When they finally showed up, the crew was disorganized and seemed to lack any sort of plan or direction. It quickly became evident that they were not prepared for the job.The quality of their work was abysmal. They damaged several of my other plants and garden fixtures in the process, showing complete disregard for my property. The workers were careless, and it looked like they had no clue about proper tree-cutting techniques. They left large branches scattered across my yard, some of which were dangerously close to falling on my house and driveway. It's a miracle no one got hurt!What's worse, they failed to remove the debris as promised. I was left with a huge mess to clean up, which took me hours. When I called their office to complain, I was met with rude and dismissive responses. The customer service representative was unhelpful and showed no interest in resolving the issues. When I requested to speak to a manager, I was put on hold for an absurd amount of time, only to be told that the manager was "too busy" to address my concerns. To add insult to injury, they charged me more than the initial quote. Despite their horrendous service and the damage they caused, they had the audacity to inflate the bill with hidden fees and extra charges. When I contested these charges, they threatened legal action if I didn't pay immediately.In summary, Santos Tree Service is a nightmare. They are unprofessional, incompetent, and their customer service is atrocious. They left my property in worse shape than they found it and charged me an exorbitant amount for the "privilege." I would strongly advise anyone in need of tree services to stay far away from this company. The home I purchased in Evansville had three river birch and a cypress tree planted too close to the house that I wanted to remove before redesigning the landscape. Santos Tree Service sent someone out to review my request, provided and estimate. After scheduling the tree removal service, they kept me informed as the appointment date approached. On the day of the appointment, they let me know that a machine broke down and they'd come after it was repaired. When I got home after the rescheduled service date, Santos Tree Service did such a good job cleaning up after the stump grinding that a stranger would be surprised to learn mature trees used to grow there. No damage was done to the brand-new air-conditioning compressor that used to sit underneath the cypress. I've had other trees removed from other properties before and am pleased with Santos Tree Service. read more

I responded to a flyer and thought I would give M. Santos a chance. I described the job, walked them through it and received an estimate of the job on the spot with no real detail. I was not comfortable with this, so I sent pictures and a description of the job and then contacted them by phone to confirm the needs of the job as quoted. They responded they could do it and scheduled immediately. The crew (appears to be subcontractors) shows up and is really not clear on the job before they get here. I get on the phone with someone (I assume is their supervisor?) saying they cannot complete aspects of the job. Then, they just pack up and leave without one word to me because the job was too difficult for them. This is a waste of my time. Send the people to do estimates who know what a crew can and cannot do. My time is money and they wasted mine. read more
