This address takes you to the Landbridge Trailhead (approximately 1.4 miles NE of the actual I-75 Landbridge) and has separate parking and trails for equestrians -vs- hikers and bikers which is nice. There are bathrooms, a water bottle filler, a bike wash station, a few picnic tables, a bike tool station (although the air hose was cut) and all of it very well maintained given the impressive number of acres. The mountain bike trail intersected the paved trail so when we had enough bumps (hello, beginner here?!) we could take the paved trail a little while longer and all the back, thank goodness.

At this trailhead, there is PLENTY of parking (when you pull in go to the right - it goes around a corner and there is where you'll see a couple of parking lots). There are bathrooms, a water fountain, and trail map here at the trailhead. You can choose a couple different trails - going to the right is a 3.5 mile hike (one way - so there and back is 7 total) that goes over to the 49th ave trailhead or to the left goes to Santos (7 mile one way). We went with Santos. Things were pretty clearly marked; however we somehow ended up on the bike trail at some point (there were 4 of us and we were busy in conversation so ya know, it happens lol), but was easy enough to make our way back so our 7 miles turned in to about 8-8.5. Worked out great because we ended up coming out where Santos Bike Shop is and took a Lyft/Uber back to our car at the trailhead. The bike shop was great, super nice people, plenty of knowledge in there. The trail itself is shaded for the most part, sun creeps in, but it's definitely shaded with all the trees. We saw a LOT of cool looking trees. I'm a big fan of being able to explore Florida (free is even better) so it's nice to be able to go out on the trails without having to pay to get in to parks or for parking or what not. If you have bikes, this is a GREAT trail to come to - the trails are separate as far as bike friendly and people hiking friendly which is nice for both parties. We really enjoyed and can't wait to visit again.

They still have all of it and more.. Everything I have grown to expect from them. From quick fixes to tune ups, they do it rite and quickly... A great assortment of parts, clothes and bikes... And still the best beer selection in Ocala... Want to ride Santos Trails but don't have a bike??? No problem.. Rent a quality bike here.. Camping at Santos park??? They have all types of camping supplies. Even fire wood and ice... There are other bike shops nearby but none as good as these guys and gals... #1 in my book...

The bikes worked flawlessly all weekend, which let us spend two full days riding without a single issue. Even bet, their rental prices were the best we found anywhere in Florida. You can tell they genuinely care about riders and want everyone to have a great experience, whether you're local or visiting. We'll definitely be back next year!

Last February in 2025 I took 2 trek bikes in for tires and a little work. We use them while in…read moreFlorida for two months and then put them in dry dark storage the rest of the time. We returned again this year and notices the new tires were all weather cracked almost as bad as the old ones. The old tires were from 2000. When I took them back I got many excuses as to why this happened even one that was, " You bought cheap tires. " Well, I had them put tires on not asking for CHEAP TIRES. I trusted them and was taken advantage of. We cant do anything for you but we can sell you other ones. I went to another bike shop and had new ones installed and was told they had to be some old product to go that fast. Lesson learned for sure. By the way, I was also told if that happened to these new tires in a year they would be replaced FREE!

We had a wonderful time at WhimCycle Trail. We stayed for two nights. The campground is spacious,…read moreclean, well maintained and the host is helpful and kind. WhimCycle has an entrance that is conveniently located on the campground with access to Santos :) LOVE this! We have a tent trailer with a pop-up tent, we did experience noise from the main road (traffic, dump truck, blow horns) However if you are in an RV, the noise shouldn't be bothersome =D There is one outdoor shower with hot water for those cold days. All sites are set up with water, sewer and electric hook ups. This is a pet friendly location. Please remember to keep your dogs on a leash and pick up after them. There is also a station with poop bags. In the center area of the campground WhimCycle does offer firewood already cut for $1 per piece. There is a box next to the firewood where you can drop in the cash (please note this is an honor system).
