I called over 10 pharmacies who all said that a tetanus shot is supposed to be given at urgent care. I called 10 other urgent care places and they all offer tetanus shots on the spot. Now the "doctor" or "PA" wants to charge me for a visit in order to give me my medical history so I can go elsewhere. Stay away! They have 4 business names and it seems as if they change the name every time they start getting bad reviews. Trust me, just take my advice for your own sake.

Dr. Ungson has always had a control freak/ narcissistic complex and never listens to me but I need…read moremy meds so I decided to use the virtual calls so I don't feel so degraded. Today I was talking to Dr. Nick Ungson about increasing my dosage because he weaned me off two other meds that I have been on for many years. I was asking him questions about my new dosage of meds and such and he got mad at me and shook his notepad at me that he was writing on and yelled, " That's what I'm trying to tell you!!!". I then said, " Are you really yelling at me ?". He then got an even bigger attitude because I confronted him about his uncalled for actions. He would not let me speak or answer any questions even after asking them. For example: He asked me if a dosage of one of my meds was 80mg. When I went into my phone notes he said, " No,no, no, if you don't know forget it, I'll look it up later." Why ask if I can't have a few seconds even to answer you? I have been telling my wife since I started seeing him almost 2 years ago that I don't think he is listening to me. I had just told Dr. Ungson today that I stopped taking the meds that he weaned me off four days ago. In his next sentence to me he said, " So it was 2 weeks ago that you stopped taking those meds"?? I then decided that I was going to address him about feeling like he isn't really listening and caring with me as his patient. I then said, "Dr. Ungson, I don't feel like you are listening to me and you didn't let me fully describe how bad I've been for the past month. It has been a living hell you won't even listen to the symptoms I've been suffering with. It almost makes me feel like I need to find a new Dr." So, Ungson replies, " Then that is what you do", as he walks me out of his office and tells the ladies at the front desk that," I'm no longer his patient. " Ungson never did send in my new prescriptions to my pharmacy and I can't believe he was that nasty and asked me to leave over stating how I felt!!!! I HIGHLY ADVISE you to NOT USE DR. Nick Ungson!!! Another thing they do is make everyone wear masks for the Corona Virus which hospitals and airports doesn't even enforce right now. This office will try and call you to change your appointment constantly, or not tell you that you have an appointment and then when you miss it, charge you $60! If I hadn't talked to the office on Monday and just happened to find out that I had an appointment the next day, I would have missed it! Lastly, one other thing that this office does is if you see Dr. Ungson, you MUST talk to their Therapist John! You don't get a choice if you choose therapy or not. You MUST speak to their therapist to get your medications. Lake Center of Hope is a joke and they can be hard to understand with their native language being Filipino. I sure hope this helps some good folks out there from making a major mistake using these people!!!

I've never had to wait an unreasonable amount of time in the waiting area - I've actually always been brought to the back quicker than any other office I've been to and the amount of time I've waited in a room to see her has always been short. She's very knowledgeable, quick/efficient , & full of compassion. The rest of the clinical staff at the office has always been welcoming, especially Ashley who always makes sure to relay my concerns & comments to the doctor for my visit. I couldn't find anything wrong even if I tried - if you haven't been here, you should They even have a pharmacy there so you don't have to go anywhere else to pick up a prescription & they can draw your labs for you so you don't have to go to a separate facility!

My mom always says she is glad we didn't give up on her because she was lost. She says "Dr. Cassidy is an amazing, caring, and thoughtful doctor." She loves her visits with him.
