I had a birthday party at this busy little place last night. A great range of food to suit every taste bud and every price range. Serving both Italian and Australian cuisine, I had the perfectly cooked, fell off the bone spare ribs, whilst my friends had a mixture of pizza, pasta and lamb chops. Everyone gave a thumbs up except the chops were well-done instead of medium-rare. The plates could have been presented a little better. The drinks were a wide selection of beer and wine that didn't empty my pocket. The service was exceptional as the kind waiters and waitresses were there when needed, not constantly in your face or absent. It took around 20 to 25 minutes for our table of 10 to receive the mains, which means we were just starting to wonder if our food was coming, but not enough to question a waiter.
Overall this place did not feel authentic Italian as the name suggests. However it still served up some great food in a restaurant with a good atmosphere that didn't break the bank. I will definitely return. read more
