This place is ridiculous and has no sense of urgency. This isn't the first time either, I always let them know in advance but each and every time, without fail, they reschedule me 2+ months out. It's mediocre care at a high ticket price point with zero urgency.

I was in town from the Lake of the Ozarks taking care of my mom after her back surgery when I…read morestarted wishing I'd seen my chiropractor before I drove up here. My lower back pain got bad enough to decide to try to get in to see someone here. Dr. Robertson had worked on my mom so we called him and luckily could get in the next day. Normally I wouldn't want to pay for the consultation that you must have when you see a new chiropractor but since my pain was so bad and I was supposed to be taking care of my mom I went for it. VERY happy I did. Not only did Dr. Robertson adjust my back, he also performed some kind of deep tissue massage trick that completely eradicated the knots. I ama chiropractor lifer after an injury when I was 17 so I've seen a lot of them and I am actually considering making a trip up here every couple months to visit with my mom and be adjusted by Dr. Robertson. As a side note he's also a very nice guy with a very nice staff. Hope this review helps someone!

My great aunt, long-time Barry resident is here, indefinitely, and my mom and I went to visit her…read morethis weekend. My rant about this hole could be very long, but I'll keep this brief, since the likelihood that any Yelper will come in contact with this nasty place is low. A few key points: -The nurses could double as drill sergeants/pill nazis- mean to my aunt IN FRONT of mom and I. -There are 2 resident cats- nice idea to have animals around the residents. HOWEVER- not nice to leave the litterbox OUTSIDE auntie's room with NO litter and kitty feces. We were swatting flies like crazy. DISGUSTING. -My aunt has a roommate and a tiny room. Only a sheet separates she and her roommie. -The "call for help" beeps go unanswered for extended periods of time. When they are answered, I heard a lot of yelling on the nurses' part. -Auntie can't sleep cuz of the above beeps and the fact that the residents who try to escape (for valid squalid living conditions OR Alzheimers) have bracelets that also beep when they approach the exit that auntie's room borders. That sums up my dear aunt's existence at the moment, but don't worry, every state agency on the elderly will be hearing from me soon, and in great detail.
