Food is ok but the quantity is not enough for even 1 person. 0 for service no one asks you anything. Like we are at a crowded Indian wedding. Expensive for the quality and quantity.

Pretty good service and ambience!! Food was decent! Overall good experience! We also ordered their indo chinese soup which was really goood!

The Food was amazing! The service was excellent. The waiter spent so much time with us explaining the different Menu items they have. The place is nice new building. All the decor came from India.

    The outside of the restaurant!

A Fantastic Indian Lunch Buffet!…read more Taj is a gem! The restaurant is modern and very clean, and they have a full bar, but the food is the star. The lunch buffet here is the perfect size with excellent chicken, goat, and vegetarian options. The food is delicious and so flavorful. The staff will bring a basket of fresh baked Naan to your table. Taj is nice enough for a date or for a work lunch. I'm definitely coming back soon.

We ordered family-style, and every dish that hit the table was vibrant, aromatic, and made with love. The tandoori chicken was simple yet so comforting, it arrived in a sizzling skillet adding a hint of flare in the presentation. Each chicken piece was beautifully charred, and coated in a bold, smoky marinade. The curries were so rich and each one had its own personality. The creamy yellow curry from the Chicken Korma was very rich in flavor while the saagwala was earthy, well-seasoned, and not over-puréed. Personally my favorite was the chicken korma the curry sauce was just on another level, I highly recommend this dish. The lamb biryani was another highlight with fragrant basmati rice and huge chunks of lamb generously garnished with fresh cilantro. Bread lovers be warned! The naan was hot, fluffy, and perfect for scooping up sauces. We also tried the aloo tikki as an appetizer and they were crisp on the outside yet so soft inside. If you're looking for a place to enjoy a full Indian spread with friends or family, then make sure you check Taj out!

Where do I begin?…read more Our first visit to Chauhan Ale & Masala House was nothing short of exceptional. Since we'd never been before (from Oklahoma), we had lots of questions, and our server was phenomenal-patient, knowledgeable, and full of thoughtful recommendations that made the entire experience even better. We started with the Gol Guppa Shots and Asparagus Fennel Chaat, and from the very first bite we knew we were in for something special. Every dish was beautifully plated, bursting with bold Indian flavors and creative combinations that kept surprising us. The Tamarind Lamb Chops paired with the vindaloo curry were outstanding. The vindaloo was perfectly balanced-just enough heat to remind you it's there without overwhelming your palate, allowing the depth of flavor to shine. The Chicken Kabob with the Short Rib French Onion Naan was equally unforgettable. The cocktails were expertly crafted, and we finished by sharing the Gulab Jamun Cheesecake before sipping Chai-Spiced Espresso Martinis that were simply amazing. Every plate was colorful, every bite delivered exciting layers of flavor, and every recommendation exceeded our expectations. This wasn't just dinner-it was an experience. If you're looking for bold flavors, inventive cuisine, exceptional cocktails, and genuine hospitality in Nashville, Chauhan Ale & Masala House is an absolute must. We'll definitely be back.

The ambience was amazing with Brick walls and old Hindi songs and Ramayan playing on them. . Drinks were great. The food was a let down. I ordered the salmon coriander and despite asking for spicy, it was not flavorful, though perfectly cooked with a nice char. I asked for chutney and hot peppers to spice it up and unbeknown to me, I was charged 12 dollars to properly spice my meal. The sauce base I chose was goan and the shrimp base sauce was korma which tasted the same. The butter chicken appeared to have red food color. The charge for spice is not appropriate for a fine dining place. I would not come back. Will always love Maneet Chauhan and her expertise on Chopped.

Rajdhani was the name of the place where my wife and I took a friend for lunch. We had to carefully find our way down the narrow grocery aisles to find the restaurant, but was well worth the effort. For a starter,we tried the Onion Bhaji- crispy, crunchy fried onion strands. Really good, and when dipped in the spicy Nepali sauce, even better. Thence came a medley of momos- both mutton and chicken. The chicken seemed to be a bit dy, but when dipped in that spicy sauce, was just fine. The mutton momos-so good!! They were perfectly cooked and embraced in a sensuous steamed wrap. Those mutton momos were the stars of my meal. For lunch, I picked the Mutton chilli. The meat was cooked until firm, but not overcooked, and lay in a pool of tomatoes, bell peppers and Nepali spices. It came with a friend- a helping of moist, fluffy rice.My wife chose the Mutton Curry. I only had a taste of her dish, but the mutton was nicely cooked. Winner!! Unfortunately, there were no desserts on the menu, so we had to go next door to get our baklavas. Now to rate Rajdhani Grocery & Cafe. It was difficult finding our table and te seats were cramped, but the overall experience was unforgettable. The onion Bhaji was a wonderful way to and the Mutton Momos were unbelievably good. We'll be back and I recommend it to others. Five stars for Rajdhani Groceries & Cafe.
