So, I was expecting the "same-o-same-o" when told I was staying at the Prestonburg QI. HOWEVER, this QI gets 5-stars because it's the best QI that I've stayed at thus far. It's not perfect, but it's very nice (renovations are being made). My room was very clean & my bed & pillows were comfortable. (Downside: room & bathroom were SMALL) Lots of parking for trucks, buses, & campers. Staff very friendly & helpful. Highly Recommend!

This experience was okay, but there were two issues. I checked in on 4/27/2026 and everything was…read moreokay there. I was put into a room with two queen beds. No problem there. The next day I tried to close the door to the bathroom in room 307 and the door hangs low off hinges and so it rubs against the ground. This needs to be fixed. I also noticed that the elevator inspection certificate, in the elevator, states that the certificate is expired.

We had traveled for ten hours and were so tired by the time we got here. Parking was easy. They had our room ready, and it was just the one we requested. Checkin was a breeze; staff was friendly; and Honey Bee's, the onsite restaurant, although not affiliated with club Wyndham, was just the thing for these two weary travelers. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Room temp was very conducive to sleep and the walk in shower was great after a long day of travel. Best of all-- the price point was so affordable - less than other options in the area with far less amenities. We will be back when in the area.
