I went in to see the dentist, and after a lot of deliberation, over a treatment plan, we arrived at a plan was satisfactory to me, and the dentist agreed to which was to give me a crown and a partial. I had a partial made at my own expense with the former dentist. I had set because he did not crown my back tooth, I had problems. I went to the dentist out of network that told me I needed to get that tooth crown. Unfortunately I couldn't see him because he was not a network. After coming up with the perfect dental plan for me, the dentist went to lunch and decided during lunch, that he was not going to give me a crown because he did not want the temporary partial I had made, which is only to be used for a short period of time, and not meant for the long term. He changed his mind because he wanted that temporary partial to fit me forever when it's going to end up in the garbage. So he changed his mind about my dental plan, but never consulted me. He had his receptionist called me and cancel my appointment till they could verify Everything even though I had already told them that the partial had been approved. To have a receptionist, call you and not even a dental assistant, and informed me that the dentist changed his mind and not consult with a patient is unacceptable in any field of dentistry. I would seriously think twice before going to this establishment. You never know what you're going to get. His behavior was remarkably unprofessional. Dr…read more Janicek seems great and two root canals have gone smooth so far, although it'd be too early to see any issues. As for the work itself, really only another DMD can comment. Reason for the loss of two stars are their billing practices. First root canal is $1,800 which turns into ~$800 for the in-network insurance negotiated fee. Insurance covers 80%, so less than $200 out of pocket. By the second root canal my $1,500 annual benefit is exhausted. That's fine, should be $800 out of pocket. But now the office refuses to honor the in-network fee. Now I'm being billed as if I have no insurance at all. I've confirmed with my regular dentist that they "of course still honor your in-network fee. That's the cost we've agreed to charge our clients." Not at Pro-Endo. Beware.

The office is immaculate and decked-out with the most up-to-date equipment, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, everyone is transparent about prices and insurance coverage, and Dr. Greene himself always seems to be up to date on his research, implementing some sort of new technology or method. I am a bit of a science nerd so I'm always asking questions throughout each procedure and he is always more than happy to discuss and explain! Also, all of the hygienists are superb. I always have Ali when I come in for checkups and honestly, it feels like I'm just coming to hang out with a good friend (who just so happens to know how to clean teeth)! She's super friendly and caring (somehow she always remembers the last things we talked about six months prior), and so gentle when working, which I really appreciate. She is fantastic! I have had some very negative experiences with dentists and hygienists in the past that sort of scarred me for life, and I always dreaded going to my check-ups.
