This may have changed now as when i went here they were in the middle of buildinga brand new kennel area, with heating. So after i got out and got the dog out we walked over to reception where the lovely lady dintroduced herself and fussed the dog. She then took us on a guided tour of the kennels and told us how much better the entire site was going to be. We even got a glimpse of the new cattery which was double glazed and heated. So the kennels will be the same. Which will be great for all dogs. The actual place is great anyway but with the new kennels will be even better. Again you get the same questions about what food your dog has and that they can have a run around in pretty much a secure field. Prices are excellent and for what you pay your dog gets a great amount of care and comfort. A really really nice Kennels with great staff and super value!

The staff are experienced and friendly and my dogs and others I have seen, LOVE the ladies there, and actually pull on the lead towards the place! They are taken on proper walks, 3 times a day, and have so much attention, they are spoilt rotten! I can leave my dog there knowing he will be looked after and loved while i am gone. wonderful place for dogs.

The "alternative" was flashy, new, modern and eerily devoid of woofs, but my dogs were returned to me in a dreadful state. I have always gone to Bungalow Farm, and not once have I returned from holiday feeling guilty that I had place them there. The ladies are lovely, and took the time to address my worries. The dogs have walks out and playtime and cuddles, they are kept clean and tidy, and always seem happy and content going in , and when being picked up. The Lady who runs Bungalow Farm spent years as a veterinary nurse, which helped put my mind at rest. Please support these kennels! They may look a little "rough and ready" but the care my boys have there is brilliant ! I will always book well in advance to avoid having to go anywhere else !!

From our first meeting, it was clear that Maisie would be in safe hands and she delights in his company. He has been with her on a daily basis since her first weeks with us at just seven weeks of age. Gabe is so good at keeping us up to date on a daily basis with photos and messages about her day, which is so reassuring. It is clear that she is in her element with him. Being at work with irregular hours meant that caring for a puppy would be a challenge for us but Gabe has made it all possible. He is reliable, friendly and goes out of his way to be helpful at all times. Family and neighbours have all commented on how very good he is with Maisie and we are delighted that she is so well looked after in our absence. He has helped us cope with all the puppy challenges with lots of advice and training tips. Gabe was the first to teach Maisie commands such as 'sit', 'stay' and 'heel' and he helped us to puppy-proof our garden successfully. My dogs spent a week here and came back to us absolutely stinking of urine and faeces, they had to…read morebe bathed several times and there was so much urine on them it was like they had been left to sit in their mess all week! Upon complaining the owner said that they do not run a grooming service and do not have the facilities to clean the dogs and will not pay out for it. It was not a grooming service that was required here, it was just basic hygiene and cleanliness. It does not cost a lot to wash a dog or even wipe them down with a wet wipe at the very least. The owner said that the weather had been bad and so that is why they were dirty, and that the heating had been on which caused the dogs to drink more and therefore urinate more at night, and as they are small dogs they walked in it and it got on their fur. This is just a really poor excuse, as they are used to being in a heated house, and even so if this was the case, then they should have been cleaned, not just left to stink! It would not be acceptable to take a baby to a nursery and have them returned to you covered in urine and faeces, so I don't see why this is any different. Avoid at all costs as the owner seems to think dogs covered in their own waste is acceptable standards of welfare, contrary to their website which states that they give personal care and attention that bigger kennels cannot give... which is clearly not true!

My dog spent 2 weeks before I got them the hell out of there and away from with 2 neglectful thieves - DALE AND LORRAINE ! They didn't feed my dog hardly at all which resulted in them loosing 2kg in 2 weeks, left her in freezing, wet conditions and were never there when I turned up unannounced during visiting times , despite them insisting they played with the dogs all day long! All the dogs and cats there were freezing, the heating was never on and the puppies looked like they were on deaths door! I would never have discovered half the things I did if I hadn't kept turning up unannounced. When my concerns for my pet was raised they were worse than rude - they were insulting, aggressive and behaved in an utterly disgraceful manner. DALE and LORRAINE are quite happy to accept peoples money and sit in their big house with their nice cars in the drive which YOU pay for and in return they do b are minimum to naff all for your beloved pet! They have gone way past complacency and without a doubt neglectful and cruel, utterly lacking in basic care for animals and have zero empathy for you as an owner of an animal you love that is part of your family! Please, please do yourself a favour and don't even think about leaving your animal at BAYTON LODGE with DALE and LORRAINE, least of all actually hand over money to them! Call themselves a business let alone decent human beings - they should be utterly disgusted with themselves and need shutting down ASAP!'

Dale and Lorraine came to the rescue when I found myself in an entirely unexpected situation and…read morewas at a loss as to what to do. The two of them were so very reassuring and went a long way further than I could have hoped for, to immediately help me with my pets' quarantine issues. Dale's willingness to travel down to Heathrow at the end of a normal workday was only the start, after which they arranged for the vet to make an unscheduled stop so that the required rabies shots could be given in time to have our boys home before Christmas. Dale was immensely patient with me checking in on our boys and he was equally reassuring. Upon my arrival to pick my pets up, Lorraine greeted me, told me that she was giving one of my pets a bath and told me of a local cafe where I could get some breakfast while she bathed my dog. I returned to find my dog beautifully prepared for his trip home and my cat with a thorough brushing that made him all but runway ready. Dale and Lorraine could not have been a better choice to entrust our pets with, there is nothing that they could have done better, and they exceeded my expectations in every way. I sincerely hope that if anyone finds themselves in the situation that I was in, they are fortunate enough to seek the help of Dale and Lorraine, their pets will be in the best of hands and will be returned to them after what I can only compare to a "spa" trip for pets. We are forever in the debt of everyone at Bayton Lodge.
