I have nothing but wonderful things to say about ABC Child Care and Enas!…read more As a first time mom, sending your infant child to daycare can be daunting. As a professional who works in pediatric healthcare/development, I wanted to make sure my son went to a loving environment that would enrich his developmental outcomes. ABC Child Care was just that. Enas is so kind and knowledgeable and truly made me feel at ease with sending my then 9 month old son into her care. My son has thrived in his development over the past year and I am so happy to have Enas and everyone at ABC Child Care as part of my "village" with raising my son. We are unfortunately moving out of the area and will miss ABC Child Care so much! If we move back before my son is school age, he will definitely be coming back here (if there is room :)). If you value a home environment and loving care for your infant/toddler, look no further!

As our preschool-aged son approaches "graduation" from ABC Child Care, I am happy to share our…read moreexperience, including the warmth and care of the owners. They create a nurturing and supportive atmosphere that feels like extended family. My son is well fed and rested, and enjoys a variety of indoor and outdoor activities. He comes home exhibiting empathy for his siblings and saying "sorry" and "thank you" - which is so adorable and reassuring. The daycare's hours are very accommodating for working parents. They are open most of the year and provide ample notice for closures. As neighbors, the Marinwood location is incredibly convenient, making drop-offs and pick-ups a breeze. The price strikes me as competitive with nearby options, and they are flexible regarding contract schedule and drop-ins. The combination of a warm, familial environment, convenient hours, and an excellent location makes it an great choice - highly recommended!

All the teachers are warm and attentive to the children. The space is cozy and inviting. And the playground is a small paradise for the little ones. She is learning a lot, from new words and sentences to putting on her socks and jacket by herself. We've seen a lot of progress in a few months! All good things. The older kids keep an eye on the younger ones and they are very sweet to each other. All in all, I highly recommend the school.

The teachers -- Crystal, Josh, Tracy, Alyiah, and Ashley -- are amazing. My daughter transitioned mid-year, and the way they welcomed her made her feel comfortable and excited to be there. The classrooms are filled with a diverse set of activities and materials to explore, and they have the best play yard I have ever seen. As a mom, the biggest gift was peace of mind. I could leave each morning knowing my daughter was not only cared for, but genuinely thriving. She has grown in confidence and independence, and came home excited to share her day and look forward to the next morning. The contrast from other schools we've experienced was night and day. At MIM, I felt supported as a parent, informed, and confident knowing my daughter's overall well-being was prioritized. It is a wonderful community. Montessori in Motion isn't just a preschool -- it's a magical place where children flourish.

We have been absolutely thrilled with the quality care from Little Hand Child Care! We feel a lot…read moreof gratitude for how the owner and her staff take the time to get to know each child, and really make them feel at ease. Our son started there when he was 15 months, and is now coming up on 2.5 years; I wouldn't think about sending him anyplace else. One of the things that we love about it, is that they not only combine educational programs into the week that they host, but they also bring in 3rd party instructors for enrichment like music and yoga. It's really amazing! We read with our little boy all the time, but when he came home knowing how to count to 10 before he had turned two, the credit was clearly due to Jordanna and her team at Little Hand. As a first time parent, I wasn't sure what to look for or to ask about when looking at daycare. Where I landed was choosing people that I felt I could trust. I trust Little Hand completely, and that has just grown over time. Other things: There is an active chat group for parents, so we can have our little ones play more outside of daycare. There are parties for birthdays and holidays! Home cooked meals, that are healthy and nutritious. And, there are so many smaller things- like the time there was construction on the street and my son got taken down to see the trucks, which made his week- that make this is a special place. We also often get photos of our little guy throughout the week, in which we can see all the things and fun he is having. We are really happy that our son is there.

They are so sweet with my son, he practically jumps out of my arms into theirs at the morning drop off. The playroom is very clean and well kept and they provide wonderful healthy meals and snacks. She sends me pictures and updates throughout the day. It's so heartwarming to see the pictures of him playing with his friends. So grateful for Jordanna, Norma and Irma, we love them!!!

He'a had a breadth of learning experiences and projects over his time at SAPS. His curiosity has been constantly sparked by his teachers. They've been supportive and kind as he's grown up there. SAPS is a large preschool with many teachers. I've genuinely appreciated how many staff members know and care for my son. It's given my son a chance to get to know many children at different ages as well. We chose SAPS because of the relaxed atmosphere and great hours for working parents. They went above and beyond what I expected and I am continually grateful we chose to send our son there.

First off, we had decided to do a week of summer camp prior to starting the school year so my son could get used to the new environment. Our first day, we were not greeted at all or told where we should go. We were lost and the campus is quite large for being a preschool. They house several different ages and so we didn't know where to go. When I picked him up from camp, nobody said bye. We could have been strangers taking a kid and no one would have known. This should have been a red flag to immediately apply elsewhere. But really, there was no where else accepting at the time, so there we went. I never really felt that magical connection we had with his prior preschool (the Pre-K there had run out of spots). Really, I feel a lot of guilt for not doing more research. Some parents I've read had done a year of Kindergarten (which my son age wise qualified for (barely being 5), but emotionally, he was not ready) at a private school and then re-did kindergarten at the public school at age 6. This is a path I only found out about today. Such is life! My son is chugging along, however, I know it's not the magical place of his old preschool. We'll get through it for the next 8 months, and take it with a grain of salt. It'll build resilience. The other students are nice enough and his two teachers are nice enough, but I don't honestly feel like anyone there LOVES their job. At least they don't convey that. It's not as "bubbly" and warm as our other school. My other son will for sure stay where we are at the other preschool for pre-K. But if I had to do it again, we'd go elsewhere. I hope I can help other parents out there. This just wasn't a great fit. I think you need to spend a day and meet the teachers before you enroll. Meet ALL the teachers as they do cover for other classes sometimes. We have our favorites (science for sure). For the price, it's ok, but the nearby (and I mean it's on the same street) private Kindergarten was actually CHEAPER! So that's on me for not even looking or thinking to do a year there instead. All in all it's a learning lesson. It has taught me to do more diligent research on any program my children do. And sometimes you might be better off just waiting.
