During service, a worker damaged my property, and the issue was only addressed after I reported it. Even then, I had to repeatedly follow up regarding the repairs and when they would actually be completed. I also initially requested mulch installation, but after several appointments where the installation was either not properly scheduled or simply not completed, I ultimately canceled that service. Overall, the lack of communication, follow-through, and accountability was extremely frustrating. Poor service, poor communication, and poor customer service. I would not recommend.

Modern Turf's customer service and internal communication procedures are astonishingly horrible…read more Not only does my yard look worse now than when I was taking care of it on my own, they fail to contact customers when requested and instead just show up and do things on your property without your consent. I submitted an online request on June 1 for someone to contact me about a specific weed problem, because its almost impossible to get someone to answer the phone in the office. They did not call me back, but instead scheduled a weed treatment application for June 4th without telling me. Since I had not heard from them on June 3rd I called the office to cancel my service and get a refund on the pre-payment I had made for the rest of the year. During that phone call, I still wasn't told about the scheduled service for June 4th, and the service wasn't cancelled. I applied my own herbicide yesterday, and I didn't find out that they sprayed my yard today until I got home to find a notice hanging on my door. My yard has now been sprayed for weeds 3 times in 2 weeks, with grass that is already discolored and not growing from the stress of their previous products and the unusually cold spring. When contacted, I was given nothing but excuses about being short staffed. I'm glad that they do not have to pay many staff members right now, because they will never see another dime of my money in the future.

We were able to put all the mats over the wet areas so he had not problem, but I never know when Duke Energy will be coming to get those. Could be tomorrow and then there is not way the truck could have dumped it where he did. He dumped it perfectly so that now I don't have to wheelbarrow it to create the bed for three large trees. When you said that you could come today, I was so happy about the timing ! But then Ronnie told me that with all the people working around their homes, topsoil is at a premium. Thank you for treating me fair. You are the best person I have dealt with since moving here. You always call back and make things happen. Today was an example of a super business person. You said "Hold on. Let's start this conversation again..." so politely that I knew you wanted to treat me fair and are a detail person. I wanted to plant these trees myself because I am kind of particular having been in the landscape business myself, but if I knew that someone like you was around here, I would have preferred to have you do it it think from our conversations. Anyhow, I just wanted to let you know how much your service is appreciated. I will take pictures of the trees now and then later, when they take root and grow in your beautiful soil. Most gratefully,
