From my perspective, your position in dances was based solely on size and weight and not on skill. I have many friends who also had similar experiences with this dance academy. While I did learn some, I mainly developed the skill of doubting myself in everything I do, specifically dancing. I attended Flair for 4 years, and even after all those years Ms.Amanda, the owner and my instructor for 3 of the 4 years, couldn't remember my name. We had some challenges and concerns when the center was sold a to a larger company, but the current center director is phenomenal and brings the whole center to the level of care, fun, and education that I have expected from them over the years. Several of the teachers have been there as long as we have (or longer!) and all of them are creative, caring, and make the center a wonderful experience that my daughter loves going to each day. They have begun clearing and creating nature trails behind the building which gives them more and more opportunities to incorporate nature into the daily experience. I highly recommend the Village Learning Center to anyone looking for a quality, comprehensive daycare and preschool for their children.
