The owner, Tash, greeted me as a new student, gave me a tour of the studio, and instantly made the space feel warm and comfortable instead of intimidating. I signed up for an all-levels class with zero knowledge of pole and was met with so much kindness from the other students. I never once felt judged for how I looked, what I could or couldn't do, or for messing up (which I did plenty of times!). Instead, everyone was encouraging, supportive, and genuinely happy to see each other succeed. The community here is unreal!! There's so much camaraderie, hype, and care, and it makes such a difference walking into a space where people actually root for you. Since starting classes here, it's honestly been life-changing for me - physically, mentally, and emotionally. This studio offers way more than just pole, too. They have aerial classes like silks, lyra, and trapeze, and the flexibility classes are incredible. The full-body workouts are challenging in the best way--they push you without making you feel defeated and help you condition yourself to gain strength for pole. Every instructor brings something different to the table, and you can really tell how skilled and passionate they are about what they teach. I also love the chair dance classes, handstand classes, and Twerkshop is hands-down my FAVORITE! Also the pole flow classes and the foundations of movement classes are very fun! Every class makes me feel stronger, more confident, and more connected to my body. Fitness, fun, tanning (even though I'm not a artificial tanner) The studio is very cute. I love the pink. It's open and the poles are a good height for climbing. I felt so out of shape because I hadn't been poling for 2-3 months (sad how quick some skills can go away) But I had basically a one-on-one session so I went at a good pace for me. I've been to different studios that have varying degrees of fitness integration but this one definitely puts fitness first. You will leave feeling like you got a good workout! Also, PA Pole Academy has the cutest shirts of any studio I've been to. Whenever I'm back in the area I'd totally come back for a drop in. Good job PA Pole Academy!

She is very detailed oriented; she emphasizes my strengths while improving my weakness'. She will work you to your full potential and expect more. The more time you spend with Susan the more she demands in an endearing way :) Within 5 classes, I notice an improvement with my flexibility and core strength. I also find myself striving to improve my posture in everyday activities. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend Susan.

I left today because of the class size; it's much too big for comfort, and might not be safe. I mentioned this to the person who oversees the gym a few years ago, but nothing has changed. There had been a class added but that was discontinued. I understand that they will bring it back one of the two days, but the Monday class still is super crowded. A few years ago I tried a yoga class and the instructor kept correcting me in front of everyone. I mentioned that one if my legs was slightly crooked. The instructor stopped the class immediately and did a breathing exercise to get rid of the negative energy in the room. Needless to say, I didn't continue that class. The women at the front desk are excellent! But that's not enough. VERY disappointing. They can do better.
