    Seared Ahi
    Emma S.

This place is fine but when I heard we were going to hot springs I was thinking we were going to a place like I've been to before. This place is nothing like the other place. It's a building with a bunch of community pools. Nothing like the hot pools built into a stream. People at the next table ordered ahi and it looked good so I ordered some. It was ok. I went over to see if my friends wanted some (they were in the pool at the time). They said no and I turned to go back to my table, a woman in a bathing suit came running towards me saying how it was her favorite thing on the menu and that she would love it. Ma'am this isn't Costco and I'm not handing out samples.... The plants in the adults area are very nice.

This is literally my favorite place in the Valley. Super friendly staff, amazing food and beautiful atmosphere. I highly recommend! I go every chance I get (which is weekly!).

What a beautiful and amazing hidden gem. We have friends who live in Colorado, and told us it was a must visit. All the employees were extremely nice and hospitable. One employee walked us around the pool and gave us a tour. We wound up spending the money to go back to the over 21 area. There were a ton of kids in the family area which was very kid friendly with fountains and shallow pools. We spent the afternoon in the back drinking wine, and soaking in the sauna and natural hot springs. Was so relaxing after a long day of hiking on the sand dunes. They are suppose to have amazing food in the back, but our schedule didn't allow for us to stay and dine. What an amazing little spot. We had such a good soak and shower. We felt so rejuvenated after our visit. Really wish I had taken more photos, but I was so concentrated on relaxing that I didn't even think about my phone. They do have lockers inside for anyone who wants to lock their valuables up.

    Greenhouse at night

The Greenhouse is my best kept secret in the Sand Dunes! The Greenhouse is the 21+ area in the Sand Dunes Swimming Pool. You HAVE to stop by if you're making a trip to the dunes. They serve wine and beer as well as gourmet small plates. I'm talking ahi tuna, flatbread pizza, shrimp, salads, charcuterie boards, all kinds of things! Drinks and food are reasonably priced as well! If the amazing food and drinks aren't enough to convince you to stop by, the Greenhouse also has a wide variety of plants and flowers that make the ambience so beautiful! The greenhouse has one main long pool and 3 small pools which vary in temperature. They also have a wooden sauna and a misting area if you get too hot. It's fully covered inside so you don't get to see the mountains while you soak, but it's still awesome! They are open during the day and night. You can go at different times and have different experiences!

This review is specifically for the Greenhouse area. Serene place where only 21+ are allowed. It wasn't crowded, plenty of pools to relax. They had Sirius XM playing chill station in the background, which was perfect. They serve wine and beer only but a solid selection. 3 drinks max per person. The food is different from what is served outside, it's a small plates menu, think tapas, and everything was DELICIOUS. The chef was working away creating these perfect little dishes. We had the Sesame crusted ahi tuna, Blistered Shishito peppers, Gosar sausage & shrimp skewers, and a ceviche special they had that day (not in regular menu). We would order everything again! Definitely the spot to go after a day in the sand dunes.

Nice place. The food is good, would prefer if dogs were not allowed in the pool area. Dogs peeing where kids are playing.

You can bring in snacks, but there's also a snack bar available. I only gave three stars because the lifeguard situation is not what it should be. There is at least 60 people in the pool, with all slides and diving boards open.. and there is only one lifeguard out who is sitting in a deck chair only half paying attention to anything. There's so many little kids, that there's lots of parents close by to keep an eye on their kids and those around them.. but the slides are a little dang mess. There are kids jumping in on top of each other because they aren't clearing underneath. This is such a great spot, I wish they would just beef up that aspect and it would be perfect.

Prices are reasonable as well. There are towels and floats you can rent if you don't bring your own. A snack bar is inside with moderate prices, along with men's and women's locker rooms and showers. As far as the pool area, there are two slides and 1 short diving board. The slides are at the northern end of the pool in the middle and the diving board is on the deep end, along the western side of the pool. Most kids seem to use the squiggly water slide since it's more fun. Grassy areas are present along the southern and northeastern ends of the pool, along with free chairs and a few shaded cabanas.

It's very difficult to actually get into the pool as an adult swimmer who just wants to swim some laps. I've been told it's due to staffing issues. They can't completely watch the entire big pool so if the pirate ship is open, then the lap lanes aren't open, which is super frustrating. Lap lanes should always be available for use any time any day since not everyone wants do a spin class or run on a treadmill. They've failed the adult swim community and 4 others agreed with me this morning as we sat in the luke warm steam room after we were kicked out of the pool for the 8:45a safety break. Just 45 minutes after opening swimmers are forced to stop their workouts. Not cool. They need to really address this downfall since $70/mo for one person isn't chump change.
