The walls are covered with the stunning work of local artists and shelves are adorned with beautiful baubles created by local hands. The girls that work there have always been patient with my indecisive nature and I always feel fabulous about my choices when I leave. Over the years, I have built up quite a collection of high quality clothing from Lula Balou and each piece looks as amazing now as the day I brought it home. Do yourself a favor and visit this beautiful shop next time you visit Wilmington:-) #lulalover

To be honest, I was leery. The reviews indicated that the merchandise was amazing, but the staff was subpar. The reviews of the merchandise were spot on. They had exactly what I was looking for and so much more. I found a lovely Or of earrings and had a very hard time leaving the rest of the shop in the shop! The reviews of the staff were dead wrong! Maybe the store is under new management. Maybe the employees are all new. I walked in without any make up on, in a pair of cut off, a tank top, and a bathing suit underneath. . . Nothing fancy! Everyone was very nice. Someone approached me as soon as I walked in, asked what I wanted, and showed me where to find it. She helped me pick my size and set them at the counter. Then allowed me to roam the store. If I looked like I needed help, someone helped me. When I indicated a pair of earrings seemed too heavy, a staff member helped me find a similar pair that would work for me. I will be back!
