The entrance charge is steep at around £5 but I'm lucky enough to have never paid it. On the occasions I've been, it's been as part of a group and we've managed to blag free entry. Inside, there's quite a variety of dancefloors and various bars. The drinks are very expensive, £4.50 for a bottle of alcopop if I recall correctly. But they do have 3 for 1 offers on drinks on some nights which makes it more affordable. On my most recent visit, I found a small dancefloor playing rock, indie and alternative music so I was a happy bunny for the night. It's not everyone's sort of club, and not my type of place if I'm honest with you, but it's bearable in moderation.

Tucked away on a back street, Posh is in the heart of Burnley's pub crawl area. Inside, the décor attempts to be posh but the sticky carpets and generally young and chavvy clientele mean it is anything but. The music is modern r and b where it all sounds the same and the drinks are expensive. They do serve some delicious milkshake cocktails which taste gorgeous and can get you in the party mood very quickly but, as with all the drinks on offer in Posh, they're expensive and service takes a while. Unfortunately for Posh, I can make just as tasty a cocktail myself at home and it's not a place I'd choose to visit for the music, atmosphere or clientele. Best left for the 18 year olds or you'll feel like an OAP in here.

Even if I could overcome the distinct smell of wet dog that permeates the place, the clientèle leave me feeling like an OAP. At a mere 26 years old, I must have been the oldest person in the club by far! There is a half decent selection of rock and metal music and the drinks are reasonably priced but Graffiti's has more of a feel of a youth club than a rock club.
