Every time I'm in Clarksville I try to stop by @sanctuaryonmain_ their team truly cares about quality down to every last detail. Their menu items are thoughtful and they have lots of healthy options. The whole vibe is warm, friendly, and earthy. If I lived closer I'd be at every hot yoga class (they have ingested classes as well) and book my massages in their spa. They even have a brilliant life coach and a small shop with local hand crafted goods. I cannot say enough good things about this female powered wellness center. read more

Met with the owner of the yoga studio to discuss getting signed up for classes. The meeting consisted of my boyfriend who is blind, the owner, and myself. We wanted to discuss if a class was possible since my boyfriend is blind. We were told that it would be recommended for us to take a private class. We spent 2 hours going back and forth about the cost. The owner kept asking what we could pay and we kept asking what the price was. She finally said we could do the class for $30 a person per class. We agreed and scheduled the time for Tuesday at 6:30pm. On Monday the owner texted cancelling the class due to an emergency. I told her in a text to let us know when it would be best for her to reschedule. She has not been heard from since. We feel like she didn't want to follow through due to the price she quoted. Definitely do not recommend. read more

They care. They make their own syrups and always seem to be working on new creations. Being that they make their syrups they are not just straight sugar, so if you are looking for something overly sweet- this isn't your place. If you want something tasty, consistent, just the right amount of sweet, made with love, and fresh... you will love it. They have rotating sweet treats and work with local bakers and vendors for wraps, sweet treats, charcuterie samplers, etc.... Delicious coffee, love their winter specials, the iced latte with lavender, honey and i get mine with oat milk (it is to die for). The atmosphere here is so welcoming and cozy. They have a lovely area to sit and get work done they also offer yoga and massages which i can't wait to get more involved in. If you're in the area stop by and check it out. The baristas and staff are very welcoming and helpful to find the best herbal natural coffee selection (or normal coffee). Today was my first class and I went ahead and bought a month pack so I can do multiple classes and get a feel for the place better and instructors. I love the atmosphere and the positive people involved. It is really easy to navigate on their site and sign up for the classes you want. They also offer a variety of times and styles so you are sure to find the one you need. The parking is very sufficient although finding the building proved a bit difficult because the signs were small. So make sure you do arrive early. The instructors are very helpful on the phone and in person. Also it's worth mentioning right now for new students they are offering a $30 deal which is what I purchased for the month instead of paying $12 for each drop in. I think that is worth it much more so you can find the class that suits your needs. read more

We hosted our daughter's engagement party at Sanctuary on Main and had the most wonderful experience. The venue is beautiful and they have taken so much time to maintain the history of the building. The ladies, Erika, Rose, and Amanda - were all amazing to deal with and helped us make the party perfect! I went in for some coffee and really liked how welcoming the staff were. They made sure I liked what I got before I left and really felt welcome. The interior is warm and cozy and really cute. First time here at this yoga studio! I signed up for a drop in Mindful Yoga class ($12). Rose was the instructor and was extremely helpful and welcoming! I appreciate her nice, calming voice during class. I haven't done yoga in over a year and it was good to ease into a class that was small in attendance and stress free. Will I come back? I have going to classes at Yoga Mat since May of 2015 and I absolutely love this place. The staff is wonderful and the variety of classes they offer allow everyone to find something they enjoy. They are also the only yoga studio in town to offer classes for unit PT sessions. My unit has conducted 2 PT sessions with Erica and everyday soldiers in the unit at when we are going back for more.
