I checked out my first Jiu Jitsu class in 2001 at that same academy where I saw Rorion and Helio Gracie instructing the class. I ended up starting Jiu Jitsu with the Gracie's cousins, the Machado Brothers. I received my Blue Belt from Rigan and my Purple Belt from Roger Machado. As I have gotten older my goals in Jiu Jitsu are Healthy Lifestyle and Self Defense. My last 5 years training were at Gracie University with Ryron and Rener Gracie, the grandkids of Helio Gracie, so I was really worried about where I could train once I moved to Clarksville. I was watched Professor James Hoskins teach a class of white belts and was so impressed that I told my wife that we should sign up here. In less than a month, I have already learned a lot even though I have been training Jiu Jitsu for over 20 years. What I always enjoy the most about learning Jiu Jitsu is the friendships I make. I already feel at home here at Renzo Gracie Clarksville. This has also helped me deal with the stress of moving missing my family and friends. Thank you

I loved the float session. It was my first time, and it took a bit of getting used to, but by the…read moreend it was so wonderful! If it were just about that, I would say 5 stars. However, when I booked this appointment, the price was $40 on the app. The girl at the desk said they couldn't honor that price and could only offer %30 off. I was able to prove that my appointment on the app was booked at $40. I even went through the motion of booking another session on the app, and that one also came up at $40. When I showed the girl at the desk, she turned around to another employee and said: "Why does it keep doing that?!?!?" So apparently I wasn't the first one to show concern when the price they wanted to charge was twice what was advertised. It wasn't the girl at the desk's fault. She was super sweet and very kind. The manager called me not too long after I left, and at that point it really just became about the principle of the matter more than the extra money. She actually came up with this excuse that I should have paid for it online and THEN it would have been at the advertised price. There was not an option to do that, and in fact after entering my payment details a message came up saying the payment would come out AFTER the session. Again, not about the money so much as what kind of business doesn't honor their advertised price, especially when the customer is able to prove their app was at fault and not a misunderstanding on the customer's side? The manager even said she would speak with the owner and then called me back and still said they would not honor the price. Just left a very bad feeling about the whole place. I would have gone back and probably bought a membership if the manager had enough integrity to just admit they were at fault and charge the $40. It seems odd that a business would quibble over $16 at the risk of losing a customer. That kind of business won't last long. Hopefully, the owner will come around to what is going on and make some management changes.

This is the go see and must go place to go in Clarksville to relax with luxurious silence and lounge in peace in the most pristine place ever in Clarksville. Shoes must be taken off to walk through the areas for saunas and the float chambers. Everything reflects cleanliness and low key luxury in this place. This is the place to go for a private sauna & float date. It was my first time experiencing this in December and very peaceful yet thrilling encounter with the sauna & the salt water float. I went on their anniversary date and was immediately impressed with how professional, informative, and kind the staff were to me. The free samples and food were phenomenal and unique. If it was not for the excellence in customer service and the rich visual & informative tour they gave me of their amenities, I would have never entertained the idea of going here. I purchased the float and sauna package for two and it was beyond my expectations. The sauna experience was my favorite. I love that they provided special body wrap towels for the sauna, towels, cold compress towels, fluffy white robes, and every amenity you could think off to provide a luxurious experience in an immaculately clean & pristine area to undress for the sauna. You can control the beneficial effects of the lights within the sauna. You can also select the type of music you want playing in the sauna. Be sure to bring a lot of water to drink and hydrate in your sauna experience. We stayed for an hour. It was heaven despite the immense thirst and desire I had for water. I drank about 1.5 liters of water in the sauna. The salt water float experience was very relaxing yet different. In the private room for the salt float chamber, you can control the lighting and music as well. You can go pitch black if you want that effect. Eye, skin, float, and ear accessories are provided. There is a showering area to shower before you go in the float chamber and after you get out. The only problem encountered: I kept getting salt water in my eyes. They accommodate for that issue with a towel and spray bottle to get the salt water in the chamber to get the salt water out of your eyes. After that experience, I showered and felt the most detoxed & cleanest I ever have been in my whole life. I definitely will go back again. The sauna and float expenses may seem expensive to most people yet you get high quality experience, accommodations, and services in this place. To me the prices are fair and they do provide military discounts to veterans & active duty soldiers. They do offer deals on special occasions as well.

A year and a half ago I decided to take a serious look at my physical health. I had unfortunately…read moreignored so many vital things that were not only important to living a long life but a happy one as well. Over the next year, I lost over 85 lbs and was feeling better at 46 than I had in my 20s! Although the weight was gone, I knew that there were years of built-up residue lining my colon. While I was feeling better, I knew that those toxins that were still in there could to be negatively impacting my health. I wanted them gone so I started my search for a place I would feel comfortable having my first colonic done. What little nerves I had about this procedure were quickly eliminated (pun intended) during my phone call with Healing Hope Colonic. I had a dozen questions, all of which were quickly answered, as well as so much more informative information I hadn't even thought to ask about. I booked my appointment for the beginning of the following week. When I arrived for my appointment I was made to feel so very comfortable. The best part is your Colonic feels more like a spa treatment which I appreciate. The room was decorated beautifully, very tranquil and relaxing. The Colonic is self is not painful. At one point, got a little bit crampy, but it only lasted a few minutes. Everything else was smooth sailing. Because I intermittent fast and am very regular, I wasn't expecting to see a ton of stuff but was pleasantly surprised. Especially after we had gotten halfway through the treatment and into the Transverse part of my colon. ( See I sound like an expert but that is because Terrin explained everything she was doing so I was aware of what was happening as it was happening). After my treatment was done I drank a minty green juice drink shot and headed home. Over the next few days, I tried to evaluate how I felt and any changes I may have noticed. The first thing I noticed was an increase in my energy level! Which was needed since we were heading out on vacation that weekend. Another huge change was the upper part of my torso area was much flatter. So much so that my husband and mom both so recognized it! My brain functions seem so much clearer. I know that may sound odd to some but my brain runs like a computer with 25 different tabs/windows open at the same time not enough RAM to process it all most of the time. I overall just felt better! I can't thank Healing Hope Colonic for being a part of my health journey. I look forward to my second session and seeing the additional benefits that come from continued treatments!
