Als er mich endlich draußen gefunden hatte - nachdem ihm drinnen keiner sagen konnte, wo ich bin, da wurde er erst einmal harsch angeraunzt - wo wollen Sie denn hin? Als Aperitif hatte ich nach einem sehr trockenen Sekt bzw. Prosecco gefragt, die Antwort: Dann müssen Sie wohl einen Champagner trinken! Ich: Oh, ja gerne! Er: Den gibt es aber nur in ganzen Flaschen! Aus Protest habe ich dann eine Weißweinschorle geordert. Dann kam der "Chef", um die Essens-Bestellung aufzunehmen, beide Fäuste in die Hüften gestemmt. Er hat uns erst darüber aufgeklärt, dass wir unserem Hund nicht eigenmächtig einfach ein Wasserschälchen hätten geben sollen. "Wenn Sie gefragt hätten, hätte ich Ihnen sagen können, dass vor der Terrasse ein Napf steht, wenn Sie nächstes Mal kommen, wissen Sie Bescheid! (warum wird einem das nicht direkt am Telefon gesagt - oder einfach in einem netteren Ton, so müssen alle Gäste drumherum gedacht haben, dass wir kein Benehmen haben!) Übrigens, es ist nur Wasser! Wir bestellten dann: 1. Vorspeise: Burrata (Mozzarella aus Kuhmilch) mit San Daniele Schinken + Girasole mit Salbei und Butter (übersetzt heißt es Sonnenblume, es war ein riesiger Tortelloni mit Spinat und Ricotta gefüllt) 2. Hauptgang: Seeteufel mit Gemüse + Kalbskotelett mit Gemüse (endlich mal ein Restaurant, das keine kohlenhydratige Sättigungsbeilagen serviert - allerdings zur Piccata Milanese gibt es natürlich ordnungsgemäß Spaghetti mit Tomatensauce:) 3. Nachspeise: Mango-Sorbet + Schokoladensoufflet mit Pistazieneis Ich muss wirklich sagen, dass alles sehr, sehr lecker war und toll gewürzt, aber ich gebe die 3 Sterne, weil ich mich auch Wohlfühlen muss. Sowohl der Chef, als auch einige Angestellte waren anfänglich so arrogant, dass ich lieber direkt wieder gegangen wäre (das bin ich sonst von Italienern gar nicht gewohnt). Sie sind dann zwar später "aufgetaut" - wahrscheinlich, als sie merkten, dass wir nicht nur die günstigste Pizza essen und dazu eine Cola trinken - trotzdem gebe ich dann mein Geld lieber da aus, wo der Gast wirklich noch "König" is(s)t. Die Küche hat alles richtig gemacht - 5 Sterne! Wir kommen trotzdem wieder:) (Wir haben - inkl. Trinkgeld - 135 € bezahlt - für das leckere Essen, mehr als o.k.) P.S.: Man soll nicht nur meckern: ich habe dann noch eine wirklich gute Wein- und Grappa-Empfehlung erhalten.

The specials were mainly seafood although they did have other dishes. The dishes we enjoyed were: - the Tuna tartar (wonderfully clean flavours) - the fish soup (excellent) - the chef's antipasto (delightful section of small dishes) - the grilled Dorado fillet very nicely done - the grilled fish plate (2 kinds of grilled fish fillets and some grilled prawns excellent) - the spaghetti Bolognese (the ragu is something to behold.. deep flavourful) - the Tiramisu (very tasty and surprisingly light.(like it is made with mouses)) On top of this very friendly service (even tough we were a bit underdressed) really made this one of the highlights (if not the highlight) of our trip to Oberhausen. Your truffle spaghetti is out of this world yummy, with huge chunks of shaved truffle, Your spicy tomato sauce is also one of my favorites. Also, your panzerotti in cream sauce. Your gambas (giant shrimp prawns) appetizer is delicious as well as your mushroom beef carpaccio and the prices are more than reasonable. Then they were extremely rude and told us to go for a walk (in icy conditions in December!!!). We were told maybe we would have more luck later. Don't even try to make a reservation, it does not help. They also don't seem to appreciate your business at all. I was never ignored so much or treated so rudely in any other restaurant before in the entire world. Would not try to go back, if they paid me to do so...
