Early last Wednesday night I stopped in to La Luce Due after attending the Aluminum 2012 Fair. The service was excellent and I had a wonderful plate of carpaccio and a plate of grilled fish (Salmon, Dorado and Swordfish). The fish was outstanding with a mild lemon sauce and cooked perfectly. The whole experience was enjoyable and made a boy from Kentucky feel completely at home. Highly recommended ! read more

BEST ANTIPASTI I EVER HAD! Whenever I go to an italian restaurant I order the "antipasto della casa" and this time it wasn't different. And it was the best decision: an amazing plate, that is very colorful and tasty!!! The size is also more than enough for a whole meal! TOTALLY RECOMMEND! read more

The owner sings and dances when not waiting tables. A very lively and enjoyable atmosphere which frequently ends up with everyone dancing. The food was very good and not expensive for the quality. A very enjoyable evening for everybody. I heard several people comment throughout the evening "I cannot believe we are in Germany" The only negative was something which appears to happen often in Germany ....when you come with a group, the waiter does not give separate checks but keeps track of everything on 1 check .....so a bit of advice is not to be the last one to pay otherwise if anybody before you didn't pay for something the questions will be yours to answer. read more

Visiting from the US and this restaurant is simply great. From the decor, the staff and the food. From antipasti to entrees to dessert. Came here twice on my 4 day visit. Very reasonable for the quality of dishes served. Plus a full bar. read more

My girlfriend and I go to this place quite often. It's one of the best Italian places we have found in our travels so far. The ravioli in butter sage sauce is a personal favorite and my girlfriend surprisingly continues to go for the pizza every time (it is pretty good). Great wine selection from all over Italy. Staff is impeccably professional and courteous. For Dusseldorf this is as good as it gets for Italian food. read more

Very nice and inexpensive Italian restaurant with a modern, yet comfortable atmosphere. The personnel was kind and you never made you wait. The pasta was delicious so was the tomato soup. All in all we spent a beautiful evening there. read more

After our first day in Germany and a long nap, we went for a late dinner. The other Yelp reviews were spit on and this was a great spot. Friendly service and delicious food. We had Carpacio, penne arribiatta (sp?) and a customized fennel and sausage pizza, all very good. read more

Wir wollten diesen angeblich so guten Italiener auch einmal testen, das letzte Mal war ich vor ca. 16 Jahren dort. Ich würde eigentlich 2,5 Sterne geben, aber die Punktzahl aus mehreren Komponenten (z.B. Service, Küche, Ambiente etc.) gibt es leider immer noch nicht bei yelp. Ich frage mich, wie so ein durchschnittlicher Italiener angeblich - laut yelp-Bewertungen - die Nr. 1 in ganz Düsseldorf sein soll? (zumindest waren sie es zeitweise). Wir waren zu 5 Leuten an einem 6-er Tisch, leider aber sehr eingeengt. Eigentlich waren sie sehr hundefreundlich, auch wenn sie unserem Hund 3x auf den Schwanz getreten sind. Bis wir dann bestellen durften war ca. 1 Stunde vergangen. Generell waren die Pausen zwischen den Gängen zu lang. Die Preise sind für das Gebotene zu hoch. Wir haben für 2 Personen 100,- € bezahlt, das beinhaltete: 1 geteilte Vorspeise (auf 2 Tellern serviert, das war sehr nett, da wir uns nicht direkt gegenüber saßen): Nudeln mit Trüffeln - leider sehr wenig gewürzt, da die Trüffel nicht dominant genug waren. Hauptgang 1: Entrecote, Hauptgang 2: Lammkarree, beides mit gegrilltem Gemüse und Kartoffelgratin, dazu 1 Flasche stilles Wasser und 4 Gläser Rotwein, also für 1,5 Gänge/Person einfach viel zu teuer! Der gemischte Fischteller soll sehr lecker gewesen sein. Unsere anderen Freunde hatte je das Rinderfilet mit Trüffeln bestellt (32,90 €!!), obwohl der Garpunkt extra abgefragt wurde - medium - waren beide Fleischstücke komplett durchgebraten und daher auch zäh, leider haben sie es nicht reklamiert, da unser Freund einen Unfall zuvor hatte und direkt danach wieder ins Krankenhaus gefahren ist (er hatte sich am Auge verletzt und die verschreibungspflichtige Salbe verloren, daher wollte er vor dem langen Osterwochenende noch ein neues Rezept bekommen). Wenn man so einen stolzen Preis für so ein kleines Stück Fleisch aufruft, sollte man sein Handwerk verstehen, das war hier leider nicht der Fall! Und die Trüffel, die wir zuvor schon auf den Nudeln hatten, haben es auch nicht "rausgerissen". Für mich ein völlig überbewertetes Restaurant, auch, wenn der Service sehr nett ist! read more

La Luce Due ist für uns seit Jahren der beste Italiener in Flingern. Das Lokal ist klein (40 Plätze) und gemütlich, das Essen steht in einem guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und Remo und sein Team sind immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch wenn La Luce Due meines Wissens in keinem Restaurantführer (z.B. Prinz) steht, hat es sich offensichtlich langsam herumgesprochen, dass La Luce Due ein guter Italiener ist - es kommen jetzt auch Gäste aus anderen Stadtteilen. Eine Reservierung ist dringend zu empfehlen! Die Vorspeisen sind reichlich bemessen - wer z.B. die Vorspeisensalate mit Fisch oder Putenfilet oder Kalbsleber ißt, der braucht keine Hauptspeise mehr. Wenn Remo die Qualität seiner Speisen hält, dann werden wir noch viele Jahre dort zu Gast sein. read more

Unser Lieblings-Italiener! Das La Luce Due ist immer eine Sünde wert. Hier schmeckt das Essen einfach wunderbar. Wir kommen seit Jahren immer wieder gerne und sind jedesmal begeistert. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich- die Gerichte auf der Speisekarte variieren zum Teil, so wird es nie langweilig, auch wenn man zu den Stammgästen gehört. Der Antipasti Teller ist reichhaltig und schmeckt herrlich frisch- man träumt direkt vom Urlaub in Italien. Die Nudelgerichte sind allesamt ein Geschmackserlebnis. Man schmeckt die frischen Zutaten und oft kommen auch frische Kräuter zum Einsatz. Sehr empfehlenswert sind hier auch die wechselnden Fleisch- und Fischgerichte. Tolles kleines italienisches Lokal in Flingern. Wir hatten einen absolt hervorragenden Vorspeisenteller mit teilweise auch etwas außergewöhnlichen Leckereien, Ceci-Thunfisch Salat z.B. Die Hauptspeisen waren auch sehr gut, meine Lebensgefährtin schwärmt seitdem von Ihren Ravioli mit Jakobsmuschelfüllung in Limettensauce als den besten Nudeln seit Jahren (und das als Italienierin). Das Zitonensorbet als Nachpeise war ebenso erstklassig. Zu dem Weinangebot kann ich leider wenig sagen da wir eher Wassertrinker sind (hier aber auch ein großes Plus für das orginale Aqua Panna) Das Personal war sehr freundlich, die Preise moderat, also kurzum auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. read more

Wir waren das erste Mal im La Luce Due und waren sehr begeistert. Das Essen war super. Die Küche kann definitiv etwas. Die Pizzen und die Pasta-Gerichte sind einfach hervorragend. Ich habe selten so gut gegessen. Die zutaten sind frisch und das schmeckt man. Die Speisekarte bietet für jeden etwas und preislich absolut annehmbar. Der Service ist super. freundlich und hat immer einen lockeren Spruch auf den Lippen. Die Speisekarte bietet eine große Auswahl unterschiedlichster Gerichte. Da findet jeder etwas. Das La Luce Due Restaurant ist ein sehr guter kleiner italiener(30-40p.) in Flinger,Dorotheen-Ecke-Ackerstr. Die Qualität ist top und auf jeden Fall der beste italiener seit 20 jahren.Es gibt auch eine Mittagskarte 6,00€ und eine Tageskarte die fast alle 10 Tage gewechselt wird. Wenn man einen besonderen Wunsch hat,kann man einfach den Chef ansprechen und am nächsten tag ist alles lecker vorbereitet.Das Personal ist immer sehr nett und zuvorkommend.Die Terasse ist viel netter geworden..... Hatte einen wunderschönen italienischen Pasta-Abend mit Vino. War vor ein paar Tagen mit meinem Freund dort. Wir hatten beide das Menü und waren sehr begeistert. Die Trattoria ist klein und total gemütlich, aber das macht das Ganze noch italienischer. Excellente Weine, gut empfohlen und sehr feine Speisen, frisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet . Die Speisen sind von guter Qualität und kompetent zubereitet. Mit einem Besuch im La Luce due ist man immer gut beraten.
