They wanted to charge me $1500 and I said I've never paid above $600 for this type of transaction and as I walked out she said ok well we can do it i guess for that price. Well closing time comes and the atty was really rude and didn't want to talk at all stating we weren't paying him enough to answer questions. So I started to translate hoping to just get thru this when the secretary came in and he started arguing with her as to we aren't making money in front of my buyers. I was passed onto one of the lawyers at this firm named Jerry Boone . My initial thoughts were that I was not impressed by his introduction and response time, but I decided to give it a shot . Over the next 8 to 9 months, I felt completely ignored, unimportant, emails went weeks without being answered, , calls not returned, he mixed me up with another case, I was left in the dark most of the time about what to expect and what was needed. My court hearing was scheduled and then canceled very last minute and then I was given less than 24 hours for the new date. I had to takeoff work last minute to deliver the original will to the courthouse. I was never told or informed about an EIN number that was needed. I had to actually call the courthouse to get any updated information because I got nowhere most of the time with Jerry Boone and Sara. Calling the courthouse is where I received most of my information while paying hourly fees to a lawyer that did not respond. Talking with the courthouse, clerk is how I got my letters of testamentary mailed out to me. It was extremely disappointing, and I felt like I paid $8000 to someone to do close to nothing. One star is generous for my experience with this firm.
