Went to this place today for dinner and was amazed how nice this restaurant is. It is not the typical Sanborns restaurant/store. Here you walk in and the restaurant is on the first floor and the store is surrounding the restaurant and on the 2nd floor. To start off they had 3 different menus today, 1 was the regular a la carte menu, the second one was a "light menu", and the third one was an "enchilada menu" with over 15 different types of enchiladas.
I ordered the Chile Relleno stuffed with mozzarella cheese which came with a side of refried beans. Since I knew the portion was going to be small I ordered a side of guac to eat along my chile relleno. On the table they had a basket with chips, crackers, and bread along with pico de gallo. My chile relleno was perfect... not too much breading and a good amount of cheese. It was also served on a bed of some sort of salsa which had a great taste. Would def order this dish again! read more
