This restaurant was one of our favorites in Puerto Rico! My girlfriend has nut and gluten free allergies and they had so many delicious choices to choose from. I had very tasty fresh tacos with a mango salsa twice and my girlfriend had vegan chorizo tacos and a vegan poke bowl and we had copious amounts of refreshing mango/ pineapple and coconut milk smoothies. I wish that we had take. More photos of our food and the place. Our food was really good, to say the least. Everything we tried was perfectly balanced and the menu was as well. Officially the best vegetarian restaurant in Rincon. Super fresh and delicious! The best option for vegan and gluten free food in town and, probably, island wide. Don't miss this one! The $20 bottle of organic wine is an excellent reason to stop in, as well! We had the summer rolls (with their fantastic peanut sauce), vegan and tuna poke (his and hers, both spot on and large portions), and the curry stir fry (perfectly cooked with fluffy rice). This was too much food for two, but we ate it all and then had dessert. The gluten free peanut butter chocolate "brownie" was delish, albeit more fudge-like. Don't be deterred by the "gluten free" title. To. Die. For. Also, service was flawless, which is another obvious reason to stop in. Probably the best meal we've had so far on the island. We are not vegetarians but we were craving some healthy food so decided to give it a try. BF and I split the pad thai and veggie curry. I am not exaggerating when I say that both may be the best I've ever had. Veggies are super fresh and and sauces on both are delicious! The bf didn't even dump hot sauce all over them like usually because the flavor was so good as is. I would recommend trying the peanut sauce though, it's amazing. This review is solely based on customer service (lack there of). I had called this place about 3 weeks ago to ask if they are able to make vegan cupcakes for my sons birthday. We wanted to make sure we found a place before arriving in Rincon so we knew exactly where to go. We were told that they absolutely CAN make vegan cupcakes they would just need a days notice to make the order. We called on a Tuesday to place the order for Thursday. The woman on the phone told us that she would take our information and call us back later that day after speaking to the chef to make sure they can make them. Which in itself is already a red flag since they told us 3 weeks ago they could. Today (Wednesday), we called back to find out what's going on. The girl who answered the phone was beyond rude. She told us "I said we would call you back if we could do it, and we can't". We said when did you plan on calling back? His birthday is tomorrow. She then said "nobody told you that we could make it. When you called a few weeks ago we said we would have to see if we could make it, so I don't know why you thought we could make this and on such notice" Needless to say the day before our sons birthday we are scrambling to find a place to make vegan cupcakes or even a cake. THANKFULLY, PASSIFLORA is amazing and making them for us. Besides being extremely nice to us, we also ate their food and it was so delicious!
