The Mark at Cityscape Apartments

The Mark at Cityscape Apartments

This review is long overdue, but after 10 years of living in this incredible building in Boca…read moreRaton, I finally felt compelled to share just how amazing this place truly is. Having lived in some of the most prestigious buildings in Manhattan and San Francisco, including owning a property on Central Park West, I can confidently say that The Mark is the best place I've ever called home--and I love it more every time I sign a new lease. I was one of the original tenants when this building first opened, moving in with a one-bedroom. When my fiancé and I got engaged, he moved here from 101 Via Mizner, and we upgraded to a spacious three-bedroom together. Best decision we've ever made. People often ask us why we don't buy, but the truth is--why would we? We have everything we need right here--and then some. The management team, led by Jonathan, is absolutely outstanding. Jonathan and Bentley are more than just building staff--they genuinely care about the residents and go above and beyond to ensure that we're happy and well taken care of. I've encountered some truly awful building staff in my day, but they are the complete opposite: friendly, approachable, and fully committed to making this the best living experience possible. The sense of community here is unmatched, and I've never felt more at home. From routine requests to more complex issues, Jonathan and Bentley are always quick to respond--even on weekends, when high-maintenance tenants like me need something stat. The maintenance team--Alejandro and Alex--are absolute rock stars. They are always on top of things, addressing any issue that comes up with a level of professionalism and care that's hard to come by. A perfect example: when we had an AC issue, they didn't just fix the problem--they worked tirelessly to ensure everything was resolved to our exact specifications, and quickly, too. The level of service here is truly unparalleled. We also feel incredibly safe here, thanks to Lloyd at the front desk, who greets us with a smile every time we pass by and ensures that we're well taken care of. In today's world, where safety is paramount, it's so reassuring to have people looking out for us and making sure everything runs smoothly. As for the building itself--it's impeccable. Modern, beautifully designed, and perfectly maintained. The location couldn't be better--we're right in the heart of everything we love: bars, restaurants, gyms like Rumble and Spin District, plus nail and hair salons, Trader Joe's, and CVS, all within walking distance. At this point, we hardly drive anywhere. It's truly the epitome of convenience. So, to anyone wondering why we don't buy--honestly, why would we leave when we're so well taken care of? Renting here has been the best decision we could have made, and we wouldn't want to live anywhere else. If you're looking for a place that combines luxury, convenience, and the absolute best management and maintenance team in Boca Raton, look no further. This building is hands down the best in town--and trust me, we know what's out there.

They keep the Mark super clean and maintenance is on top of everything - always fixed same day. I have lived in many places but none even close to the Mark.

This restaurant is generally open to residents and their guests. Sitting at the restaurant, you look out onto a beautiful view of boats that lead out to the intercostal. Today we had exciting drinks including a lemon drop martini as well as traditional ice tea. Lunch included shrimp tacos, meatloaf with scrumptious potato pancakes and a New York strip steak prepared to perfection. Desert was a delicious key lime pie and cheese cake that reminded me of famous Brooklyn Juniors cheesecake. It's was absolutely delicious topped with whip cream. There is a new manager (David) that has improved the overall restaurant experience. A new chef Jerry is absolutely fantastic bringing specials to the menu. If you have the opportunity to come to this restaurant it's an experience that you should not miss.

It's a really nice and quiet place to sit by one of their three pools and read, or walk around their gorgeous marina and admire the boats. If you're more interesting in doing active things, they have tons of tennis courts and a well equipped exercise room. The beach is a minute away from the center restaurant (The Chickee Bar), and there are chairs right on the beach that you can take to use all day. It really is a gorgeous place to have a home. I love it so much, and I will be coming here hopefully for many years to come.

Ventura Condominium Resort Office - Some strange inner outside patio thing

I give the combo clarification because of course, I would have loved a 5 star, all the amenities type of place, but I didn't pay for that now did I? Here is a probably mid-70's to early 80's constructed establishment with no view of the ocean, but a mere was across the street, through a nice paved path straight to a very quiet, clean, nice beach. I have no complaints. The unit, which must be about 1500 sq ft was gigantic. It has 3 real bedrooms (King, queen and two fulls(?)), 3 full baths, full kitchen (including utensils and plates, etc. and even a blender!), dining area, living area, a porch facing the pool, two upstairs patios (one facing the pool) and a weird middle, inner outside area with a table and chairs we never used. Lots of closet space and the upstairs had two of the bedrooms. The TV was a big flat screen with the ability for external connections. Everything worked in the kitchen and the water pressure was great. They could use an upgrade to some Posi-temp to avoid scalding by other fixtures being turned on throughout the house, but as a child of the 80's I recognize the minor pre-warning and knew to jump to the side. The condo was nice and quiet, and the pool is a really good size and was always not crowded. They have two gas grills by the pool, with utensils ready for anyone to use them if they want. The front has towels, games and information for local attractions. For us, the pool and the beach were all we needed. Restaurants, grocery, liquor, donuts, shopping (real shopping, not just "beach" type shopping) were all very close. The pool was always clean, not too hot or cold and very nice. No problem getting a chair, table or whatever you wanted. The AC worked adequately and really it was more the beating down of the sun which caused for some hot spots at certain times throughout the condo, but no big deal. The condo and surrounding areas were very well maintained and staffed and I saw absolutely no problems. No bugs in the house although I am sure there is a season where there are more that a beach setting just makes inevitable, but we saw none. The other patrons included families with small kids and older folk but no noise or parting disturbed any of us. The beach across the street is "private" and it lived up to its name. Lots of seaweed the first day, but they eventually through the week bull dozed it aside making for really nice sand and water. The condo doesn't really "rent" anything, so you will need to go about a mile and a half south to a little area that has some restaurants, shops and a rental place. I don't think they had motorized things, but they had the rest and had a few restaurants with some water view. All in all, I wouldn't go crazy paying much an arm and a leg for the place, but I think they know their market and for its price, this was really a great place to be. I really appreciate the management and the establishment they have here.
