One word, Prego!
I came here on a whim as I am staying just a few blocks away. This place is spacious and by spacious I mean spread out almost sparse. It's a great place to go if you don't want your conversation overheard. Since I am here alone, it will keep others from overhearing me talking to myself.
I started with the carpaccio and the house Sangiovese. While it was a small porton I give it an 8 out of 10. The Parmesan surrounding the beef complimented it well. It was hard to not fill up on the artisan bread that was as fresh as it gets. For the main I ordered the calf cutlet based on my waiter's recommendation as the house specialty. I asked for it medium rare and it came out medium but was still very good.
Overall I gave it 3 stars because it was just plain alright. I didn't walk away feeling enlightened or that I experienced something special- just that I had a good solid meal that was slightly overpriced. read more
