The Mrs & I attended the local San Gennaro Feast & really enjoyed our visit. Plenty of food vendors with all manner & styles of cuisine. We found a vendor called "The Smoking Hen House" which had a great bacon wrapped chicken, among other items. Delicious! It was hot but we found some shade & watched several of the live shows. Had a wonderful time.

First time going, and it was fun. We just came for the food, and we loved it. We got sausage, pizza, gelato, fried rice balls with ham and cheese, cannolis... so many yummy options! There's also rides, fair games for prizes and vendors selling items like jewelry, dream catchers and more. There are places to get your face painted... it's really cute.

Took for IG, wish I didn't.

I've been to the San Gennaro Feast twice now and neither experience has been a good one. I've been to many food festivals and I'm not shocked by the absurdly high prices or the insanely long lines that usually go hand and hand with these, but this one just seems to so lackluster. Ignoring the my first visit in 2021 entirely, yesterday was Mother's Day and my mother in law (who is from Italy) wanted to go and check this fest out. We arrived not long after opening and it was actually really nice to see the place not overly crowded, so much shorter lines especially when the sun is out. The price of admission is $15 which basically means you will pay for the ability to pay more to get food, so yeah, that's pretty shot to start off with. We took a lap of the property before making any food choices and there's a semi decent array of food around, a lot of which is just a mirror image of some of the other vendors. When it comes to shops, its a mixture of the same things you'll find at the local swap meets, T-Mobile, People selling stuff from Temu, and like 4 booths selling socks and crystals....pretty much nothing representing any sort of Italian culture. We started off with some cucumber lemonade which was pretty good, but then made the mistake of hitting up the Arancinus booth and getting the actual worst Arincinis I have ever consumed in my entire life. We ordered a six pack of them, half with sausage and half of the plain ones (I did not try those). I was the first to dig in and immediately bit into an ice cold Arincini, like the middle was basically completely cold. After the rest of my family took some bites we realized that every single one of them was cold......cool. The bad food experience basically, lack of entertainment outside of 12 year olds singing pop songs, and basic carnivale rides had us just leaving and going to get food at the M. Overall, I truly believe this is one of the worst festivals in Las Vegas (still not as bad as the German festival that only offered one singular German vendor). I've been at night and during the day, and both experience was so lackluster I will not be making this mistake for a third time. Save some money and go eat somewhere else.

Me and my friend went first time to this event, not knowing what to expect. We went on opened day right at the gates opened. First off it is held at M casino in a parking lot adjacent to the actual casino. The parking was not well signed at all and we did not see any handicap parking (but maybe missed it) due to my friend having mobility issues it was hard for her to get to the main entrance from the parking garage. The people we bought the tickets from are very disorganized and we're not sure how to operate the credit card payment machine. ( maybe because it was first day not sure, hope they get better though) The tickets are 15 dollars for one ticket so we ended up paying abt 36 dollars for 2 tickets all in. There was not much for shopping except mostly kids things and some candles. They try to get you into raffles when you first enter the festival grounds. The foods were nothing special king of just normal carnival food pizza, sausage peppers and onions. Although I did have a excellent lobster roll that was on the positive side. The Rides are also nothing special just carnival type rides You could theoretically be in and out of this fairly quickly. It was not a big size at all. The stage had som good entertainment but not really something you could sit and watch for a extended period of time. I believe the San Genaro festival is overpriced for what you get and also you have to buy rides and food tickets separately so it is not all inclusive. FYI... Would I recommend it not really, but I also would not tell you to stay away. It is like any other church carnival nothing special but can kill a evening if your board

Wow! I'm not sure why this place is getting g destroyed on Yelp.... What the hell do people expect...? It's a weekend festival once a year and this years is actually one of the best. The place was packed but we were able to just park at the M garage and walk across (5 minutes). Our friends joined too. They got there and were able to get a table, drinks and food immediately. We checked out a couple of the food venues, shopping venues, did some rides and even threw some axes. Spent about 180 (not bad) and we had a blast. That doesn't include the free music. Towards the end of the night we went to one the bars and had some great mixed drinks and Whiteclaws. no complaints here... but we also aren't a bunch of b****s

Ugh.... It's been several years since I've gone to the San Gennaro Feast in Las Vegas. Now, I've been to the San Gennaro Festival in NYC when I spent a year living in NYC. If you really want to experience San Gennaro, I would highly recommend going to the one in New York City in Little Italy. San Gennaro Feast, Las Vegas, was located this year off of the 215/Sunset near Ikea. I was really disappointed in the San Gennaro Festival this year. Luckily, I found a coupon online for a $2.00 off print-out for each adult paid. The total for entrance for [2] adults was $16.00. Parking was also paid for - $5.00 donation, or $10.00 for VIP parking. For unlimited rides, it was $35.00 on Saturday. Many of the games to play were $5.00 each. My family and I easily spent $100.00 on just entrance, kids rides, and game cards. The food was really expensive as well. There were a wide variety of food vendors, but we ended up selecting the following -Chicken Fettucine Alfredo -Sicilian pizza slice -Pickle Hot Dog -Mozzarella Hot Dog -Sausage with Peppers/Onions -Several Beverages The food costed over $75.00. Pretty much all of the food was cold, except for the Pickle Hot Dog and the Chicken Fettucine Alfredo. The food was alright, but not worth the money invested. I did not see much cultural reference at the San Gennaro event. The San Gennaro event in Little Italy (NYC) references much of the community, and festivities. The rides towards around 5:00 P.M on Saturday, for the kiddie rides, also lost power. This included any of the pay-to-charge card stations in that area. The rides were inoperable for about a hour. It's one of the more popular events events in Las Vegas, but I wouldn't recommend it. It's extremely expensive for the food, rides, and carnival games.

I had a lot of fun! Delicious food, easy to get to and parking, fun music and ambiance...really nothing not to like other than the crowds. One star off only because of the limited wine selection (only had California wine). Other than that I'll definitely return!

I've been coming to the San Gennaro fest with my half Italian boyfriend for four years now. I'll just get the bad out of the way. I wish they had more selection of Italian foods since it's an Italian food festival. There are probably around 30 tents and more than half are completely unrelated to the theme serving stuff like Mexican, food, Greek, Asian, etc. I understand there a picky eaters in the world and they deserve options, but come on. It's an Italian food festival. Every year we try to try new things but there's really not a ton of variety. We've tried the sausage and peppers, pasta and cannolis and yeah there are some nice authentic places. The other thing I don't like is that once you're in, you can't get out and re-enter, which is very inconvenient, especially considering the partnership between San Gennaro and the M resort in which parking lot the festival is located. Now onto the things that I do enjoy, this year we tried the pasta and meatballs from the Gravy Girl, which is a local food truck, I wish I could review it on their page but since they're not a physical location, they do not have one. Oh my gosh, the sauce was out of this world!! it's also really nice that they have a stage with performers, singing Italian songs and I also enjoy the rides. While this festival can use some improvement. I will continue to come down every year.

    My italian son!

Usually May and September every year. I love the food and we always like to take home a cannoli or tiramisu. We don't do the rides and between two adults' admission and food, we usually spend $100.00. I want to go this Sunday, but searching for the $100.00. I love watching the children sing on the stage. The first year I went was 1990 or 1991- Can't remember back that far. Hopefully, see you there!

I HIGHLY SUGGEST going general admission for this one. Also as a side note don't purchase your tickets in advance like I did. It is better to pay a few dollars more and decide you don't want to walk around a festival in 100F heat. I went VIP and now am sorry I did. First of all this is the most unorganized food festival that I have ever been too. We had to stand in line to get wrist bands. Then as soon as we got wrist band we had to stand in another line to wait to get in. Then we had to stand in yet ANOTHER line to get our VIP food tickets. Also on the way to stand in the Food Ticket line there were countless trip hazards. (the most I have ever seen anywhere!) THE PROBLEM WITH VIP IS THAT IT LIMITS YOU TO ONLY CERTAIN VENDERS. YOU ALSO NEED A CELL PHONE to bring up a map of the event and it also lets you know what VIP Venders that you can try. You also need to GRAB A SEAT FAST because covered seating is very limited and fills up FAST. Then I hope you are OK with LOUD Music. The music they play is uncomfortably LOUD. Another problem with VIP is that YOU DON'T GET YOUR MONEYS WORTH. After three plates I was full and didn't want anymore food. We just wanted to leave. That said and ANYWAYS - The food I tried was good. I wish plates were smaller so I could have stomach room to try more things. I think what I enjoyed most was that my husband figured out the locations of certain food trucks and brought back the foods to our seats. I also enjoyed watching a young man (like 15 or 16 years old) air drumming and be-bopping to an extended version of Rod Steward's Do You Think I'm Sexy. I wonder if he knew that was a fifty year old song? Then Abba's Dancing Queen filled the air and he went cold. That was entertaining. Got lucky and had a close parking spot. Good Luck!

I'm glad Laura C. posted a great review because I did what she said and got the Groupon. This makes it just $20 a person, which is absolutely worth it. These lanterns are hand made! The artistry alone is worth the entrance fee. My boyfriend and I could not stop talking about how WORTH IT it was to experience this. The lanterns are gorgeous and yes, you could be done in 15 minutes but if you take your time and actually enjoy what they are you can spend longer here. We ended up staying for about an hour and making two rounds. We actually saw stuff the second round that we didn't notice the first time. The area that serves the boozy drinks was a bit small and there was only one fire pit but we got to sit under a heat lamp so I wasn't too cold. The drinks are a bit overpriced but they are good and come with a souvenir mug. The Boozy cinnamon toast crunch is sweet but really, really good. There are more food options at the park than on the website but we didn't end up eating anything. From what we saw others eating, it didn't look bad. If you're into entertainment, check the calendar. They do have performances and stuff like that, you just have to go on a day that has them. It's pretty clear on the website.

It was one of the best festivals I've ever attended and this hippie mama has been to her fair share. Just a heads up, there's a 7-11 right across the street to the entrance if you forget anything, like tons of water you'll need! The park is well maintained and really nice itself. Ducks in a beautiful fountain, picnic areas and ample free parking. No need to bring food, the festival has a bunch of vegan food trucks and they're pretty delish! It took a good 3 hours to cover the event. Now it's down to being centered just right on the plaza with just a few vendors. This time I spent less than 45 minutes here since I missed the one and only halau scheduled to dance and the bbq huli chicken people were missing. They were a big draw! Major bummer! The Positives: I found some cute pareos, like I need more. They don't charge admission and have always remained free to get in. It's family friendly and still has the laid back aloha vibe, ukuleles playing, malasadas, shave ice and all.

It also means no lines and no real entrances, you can enter/exit any where, and if you want bring in your own food, drinks, fold up chairs, basically anything you wanted. That's awesome. I always try to make it out to these less main stream festivals. That's what I'm more use to being from a "country" style island. I think this is probably one of the more enjoyable and family friendly ones. They have hula dancing and various artist and entertainers from across the valley. It's more of what represents the Pacific Islands community here. Yes you can probably buy food at the actual vendors' restaurants but if you came here you can hang out, chillax, and converse with random people just wanting a good time. Pure Aloha is good but crowded, entry fee, at a casino, in a parking lot, jammed with unnecessary vendors selling the same stuff, and I did't care for the fair rides and games. Also seeing that after the last Pure Aloha event a few weeks ago there was a bunch of fights. Yea not the best thing. So back to the Ho'olaule'a Pacific Island Festival. I will definitely be back to support this festival. Keep up the awesome work and thanks for the 20+ years. That's go for 30.

Haven't you always wanted to be in a parade but lacked a float? The float-barrier makes your…read moreaverage parade rather elitist. You are relegated to a spectator even if you know you're true parade material, and this is why I love the Halloween Parade! All you need is a costume, and you too can be IN the parade. You can even win a prize in one of the multiple costume categories. The parade attracts all types from Burning Man veterans to curious tourists to sweet transvestites to families... yes, all types are welcome and all types march proudly! If you're an overachiever, you can create an art car or a float, but it's not necessary. (Although that is on my bucket list: to have an art car or float in the Halloween Parade!) Of course, if you prefer spectating, that's an option too. There is plenty to look at. This year one of my favorites was an illuminated fishing boat and hooked fish. The fish was built around a scooter, and the scooter was pulling a little trailer with a boat. Ingenious cuteness at its best! Every year on Halloween it happens whether it's a Monday or a Saturday, so you never have an excuse to stay at home or be without a costume! It's true local flavor at its best.

There were a lot of fire breathing art cars on display after the parade, and at the end of one area the Dancetronauts had a stage and a large crowd. Their stage was pretty sweet, with smoke ring blower, lazers, lights and gogo dancers. The other larger art cars had their own dj and sound system too, so music everywhere you went. All the bars around the area were packed, and most people were in costumes. Very fun night that can me completely FREE if you so chose to. There are food trucks and stands around that you can get food at if you're hungry, and they even had bars set up around the area and most I saw had little to no line. The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars was bc the final party area could be a little larger. Hopefully next year will be even bigger.
