This tour was fun! Very hilly so wear comfy shoes and be prepared to trek up the SF hills. Jamie, our tour guide was fun and really knowledgeable. Bonus: I found a new spot I've never heard of before and I really liked it. The Last Drop Tavern.

I grew up in the Bay Area and have lived in San Francisco for many years, but I learned about 100 new facts I never knew before going on this Ghost Tour. Michael was a great tour guide and really knew his history. Thank you for the fun tour and the extra cardio!

I went BACK for the Haunted Pub Crawl! It was so much fun. Lots of new scary stories and fun bars! A few of the stops the bar and owners were so eager to share their spooky happenings with us! Michaela the guide managed the crowd really well the night flowed really smoothly! Now I have a bunch new bars I can take my friends to and share some stories.

Haunted location with strong EMF activity!

Jamie, our guide, made this a great experiencial imersion into haunted San Francisco! He is a knowledgeable historian that brought wit combined with story telling fun! Take this tour and enjoy!

Cannot recommend this tour enough! Jamie was our tour guide and he was so informative and hilarious. It was beautiful walking around the city at night and our whole group had a great time. When you're in SF, check out the tour!

The decor downstairs is a blast from the past with in tact stenciling, wall paper, and turn off the century original detail. He freely shares so much history and detail of the area, historical development and decline in the area. The wealth of knowledge here is abundant. There were some discrepancies in what we were told and what public records will tell you about this house. But overall, this "tour" really is about George's life and his mother's life. He finds a way to find some minute thing in the home that he can then go on a 10-minute story about that has nothing to do with the home. Lots of name dropping. Even showing a video of him on the Austrian Alp that Julie Andrews was on for the Sound of Music. It has absolutely nothing to do with the house. We were ushered through the living room, dining room and kitchen in about a minute and a half. I would have liked more details about those rooms. All of the rooms, for that matter. But this is really a story about George's life while you happen to be in one of the Painted Ladies.

Perfect for families and adults. I cannot wait to try another one in many of the cities that are available. You just purchase on your phone and start it when you get to the 1st challenge location.

Our docent customized the tour to what each person of the group wanted to hear/learn more about which I thought was very cool. Our tour was also accompanied by print outs of articles and photographs which were helpful aids. Though they say to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the tour to check in, on Saturdays, when the tour begins at 10am, it is not quite as necessary to arrive earlier. The Chinese Culture Center is not open until 10am and the docents don't arrive until 10am either. We parked at Portsmouth ($4/hour) since we wanted to arrive earlier to check-in, but we actually had enough time to park at the (farther) garage that the Chinese Culture Center validates.

She provided us with many "gems" and "tidbits" of history that we were not even aware of, i,e., learning what living in an *'8x8ft" Single Room Occupancy (SRO) would be like (-wow), visiting the oldest temple in Chinatown, various plaques in and around and on the streets in Chinatown. We had a great time and we recommend taking the 2 hour Chinatown Walking Tour through the Chinese Culture Center!!
