Wow, absolutely amazing service! They showed up 45 minutes early and set everything up perfectly. They even brought the baby a gift, which was such a sweet and thoughtful surprise! They cleaned and sanitized the soft play equipment with sanitizing wipes before setting everything up, and everything went so smoothly. There were absolutely no hiccups from beginning to end. They also arrived right on time for pickup and handled all of the cleanup and takedown themselves. The soft play area was a HUGE success! We had kids from 8 months old all the way up to 5 years old playing and having so much fun. Even my family kept asking me about the company because they were so impressed. I'm extremely happy with the experience and would definitely recommend them for a birthday party or any event with little ones. Thank you for helping make our celebration such a success! read more

Ah! What a wonderful experience. SDSP has the best customer service! Extremely communicative and friendly. They delivered the soft play area to our home with plenty of time to spare before the party and made sure it was very clean! The kids had so much fun! We will definitely be renting from them again. Farrah and her daughter are so sweet. Highly recommend! read more

We used San Diego Soft Play for our daughter's 1st birthday and I cannot recommend them enough. We had used them previously for our son's 1st birthday two years ago and it was a "nice to have". But this time it was a huge hit. At one point, I told a couple friend "I thought you left your daughter at home because she hasn't been with you, but then I saw her in the ball pit". That kid was never once with her parents. She was having too much fun. It gave her parents a nice break to socialize and eat. And all the kids had a lot of fun, lots of excited screams heard. read more

If you are planning a kids' party in San Diego and looking for the most beautiful soft play setup, San Diego Soft Play is absolutely the company to book. We actually first used San Diego Soft Play five years ago for my daughter's first birthday, and it was amazing then -- which made it even more special to use them again now. The fact that their setups, quality, and experience are still just as incredible years later really speaks to how well their business stands the test of time. I truly cannot say enough amazing things about this experience. Grace and her team are some of the kindest, most thoughtful, and most professional people I have ever worked with. From the moment we connected, they were responsive, flexible, and genuinely excited to help make our party special. The soft play setup was absolutely stunning. Everything was spotless, beautifully styled, and thoughtfully arranged. It completely transformed the space and instantly became the highlight of the party. And the kids were OBSESSED. From the babies all the way up to the big kids, everyone was playing on it the entire party. It was incredible to see kids of all ages enjoying it together -- it truly kept them entertained for hours. If you're planning a toddler birthday party or kids event, this is hands down the best entertainment you could have. What also meant so much to us was how incredibly understanding and accommodating Grace and her team were. We unfortunately had to reschedule the party the night before because my daughter got sick, which was so stressful as a parent hosting an event. They could not have been more gracious about it and worked with us to move everything to the following week without making it complicated at all. That level of kindness and flexibility meant the world to us. But what made the experience truly unforgettable was the care they put into everything. They went so far above and beyond -- helping with setup, making everything effortless for us as hosts, and even bringing the sweetest surprise gifts for the kids. That level of thoughtfulness is incredibly rare. You can tell Grace and her team truly love what they do, and it shows in every detail. Grace and team, thank you for making our party so joyful and special. We are already excited to book San Diego Soft Play again for our next celebration. read more

Thank you San Diego soft play for such fun entertainment for my 2 year old's bday party!! We did the large white bounce house with the ball pit, and also the pink 6 ft ball pit. Both were exactly as described and the kids went crazy!!! They were very prompt & hard working with set up and tear down. Also connected me with their partner to do decals and balloons for me. You should know that they ask for 50% deposit to "secure" your booking. That should have been the first red flag for me. Alas, I was too eager to book a vendor for my daughter's first birthday. After paying $230 deposit, no confirmation, no out reach from them. I called, I emailed. They called me once, I missed it and they never followed up ever again. I called back and their voicemail was full. My husband called. It shouldn't be this difficult. I am now working with my credit card company trying to get the $230 back. If you value responsiveness, learn from my experience. There are at least four other vendors with better/ more reviews in San Diego. read more

I wanted something fun and safe for my son's first bday and thought a play yard would be a great idea. I did not plan far enough ahead for my son's first bday party and was unable to find any play yard rentals until I found Baby Quip. They were responsive and helpful and I was able to rent the largest play yard with a canopy. Kellen and his assistant came a half hour before to set up. Kellen was very friendly and answered any questions I had about the equipment. He told me they sanitize everything (they were even sanitizing as they set up). Melanie always notified me of the times they would be there to set up and breakdown. They were flexible and were willing to change the times if needed. The play yard was a real hit with the babies and toddlers at the party (they especially liked the ball pit!) I am grateful I found this company and definitely recommend them! read more

Reach them to save your date! They are the best so they book fast. I hired San Diego soft play for my august 2021 event. They were so good at everything. From the beginning to end. They answered all my questions, were professional, on time and they're soft play was THE BEST. I love the Soft play created for toddlers and it's been a hit at a couple parties I have been to, but no soft plays are as good as these! The fence is secure and will not knock over like others, I've been to other parties and have seen a baby/toddlers pull up from the fencing and it falls on them creating a domino affect on the rest of the fence, BUT not San Diego soft play. Everything was clean and I honestly am going to stop, I cannot say enough good things about this small business and this is already super long lol. I can't believe anyone would leave a bad review, DO NOT listen to those reviewers and book your event with San Diego soft play you won't be disappointed read more

Babyquip's soft play zone was perfect for my daughter's first birthday party! We got the "Mini" 7x9.5 SoftZone for 7 babies ranging from 7 months to 3 years old. They all fit comfortably and had a blast. It was so nice to have a designated safe, clean play space for all the littles! Melanie worked with me last minute (I procrastinated ) to fit me into their schedule, and was easy to get a hold of and prompt with all emails and phone calls. Kellen was punctual with set up and take down, and was quick, friendly, and professional. The soft play zone was so cute, and both the babes and parents alike loved it. San Diego Soft Play - Soft play with ball pit - Party Equipment Rentals Near Me

I have nothing but amazing things to say about my experience with San Diego Soft Play, from inquiry, booking, set up, quality of the soft play, and pickup. I currently live out of the country, but was planning my child's birthday back home where my family is. So on top of the stress of planning a party that I've never done before, I've had to do it internationally. They made the process real simple and easy to follow and were extremely professional the day of the event. Not only did the kids absolutely love the play area, but the adults were able to have a place for their kids to safely play where they could easily watch them and enjoy the rest of the party. The one thing I also really loved about San Diego Soft Play is that their set ups/options are a lot more aesthetically pleasing than most other soft play companies in the area, which is probably part of the reason for the slightly higher price tag, but I say it's fully worth it based on my experience. The one thing I would advise when considering to book is to do it asap. I think I got really lucky that they were available the weekend I needed them because the holidays were the weekend before/after (I was inquiring/booking a little over a month in advance). Also, since I didn't want to take any chances of losing out on booking the soft play I wanted, I not only made the inquiry on their website, but I followed up with a phone call, which they answered and they were able to get back to me with availability within the week. And once you are on their radar, they are extremely responsive and ensure that all of your questions and concerns are addressed. read more

OMG! This company had a cool idea and I wanted to hire them we were literally willing to spend over $600-$700. The "book now" button isn't a book now type of calendar. It's an inquiry, which they say they will contact after. My fault, I was expecting a call. You put in your phone number in. This review is purely for the customer service! I sent an inquiry in July 2021 for my sons first birthday in August and called to reschedule because my son was in the ER. I spoke with a man over the phone who said he would get back to me. I told him my fears of it being booked out in August, and I wanted to know ASAP. He. Never. Did. He never cared about any of the info I told him. I felt really stupid contacting them again. I've been consist about rescheduling. I made another inquiry and got an email back saying they sent emails an I didn't follow through. Such bullshit. This company should keep a call log touch bases with the customer. Defiantly put my eggs in one basket and now they tell me that august is booked out. I feels like an Easter egg hunt trying to find out what's their availability! read more

Looking so a Soft Play Zone to rent for your event? Comparing prices and customer reviews? Look no further! Book the Soft Play with Kellen and Melanie ASAP because their play zone was the most affordable (I wouldn't use the word cheap because they had some great quality equipment) and their customer service was excellent! They were easy to communicate with via text when I was inquiring and when I decided to book. Booking is done online via Baby Quip which was super easy and convenient. The day of my event (Daughter's 1st Birthday) my mind was all over the place and Kellen took care of the setting up and breaking down of the Soft Play Zone. He was also very accommodating when it came to the time he set up and came back to pack up. Lastly, I decided to book the Mini Soft Zone (because we were next to the two playgrounds in Montevalle Park) and it was definitely spacious enough for a bunch of toddlers! We even had one 13 year old in there (Special Needs Child) and he loved it as well. I am definitely going to be booking with them again for all of my daughter's future parties. read more

We reserved a play area for my daughter's second birthday. Not only was is more affordable than other play places, but it was really well set up. They arrived on time, set it all up and came at the designated pickup time and although the kids were still playing, they waited an extra 15 minutes, so that the kids could finish up playing. We had a lot of friends and family inquiring about where we got it and complimenting us on the great idea! We're probably going to do the same thing for her third birthday! read more
