Sure enough there was a Groupon for $48 for 2 races for 2 people and memberships for both or 4 races for 1 person and a membership for that person. My babe and I used both races during this single visit. Each race consisted of 14 laps around the track. The race cars go super fast (40-50mph). The first race was nerve wrecking because as a newbie you're getting used to the car, track and speed. However, the second race I was Danika Patrick, lol. I went from 7th place to 2nd place and this was my first time at K1 Speed! Overall had a great time celebrating my birthday. The facility is nice and clean! They have arcade games and lounges, table to relax at during down time after your race. The staff were very friendly! At the end I realized I could have received a free race on my birthday but I had already left the facility. I contacted them promptly and the added a race credit to my account for the next day! Exceeded expectations…read more    We had a blast.  Let me start with a few things because some context for an experience like this might help someone else decide if they want to do it or not.  I am not a gamer.  I do love playing mario kart and fifa with my kids on occasion but that's about it.  I have always loved go-karting.  I was invited to the one line racing center by a friend who had been before and loved it.  I knew the concept but honestly didn't really know what to expect.  Well...it was incredible.  I was pretty horrible at it and I'm really competitive so it wasn't easy to crash out a lot and not be on the leaderboard.  We did two different tracks, one which is part of their regular series that everyone competes in and then also COTA with a totally different car. A few things that stood out to me.  The staff was very nice, incredibly informative.  I love driving a stick shift but don't use paddle shifters so that took me some time to get used to.  The technology here is so immersive.  The whole 'rig' moves.  It shakes when you crash, it bumps when you bump, etc...the handling of the car felt incredibly real and varied by car which was both impressive and made it harder (at least for me).   We were there for nearly 2 hours playing almost non stop and if I didn't have to go, I'd have loved to stay longer.  It's an investment for sure and one that is well worth it imo for people of all interests and driving skill level  (they did mention they can adjust things to make it easier to pick up for newer folks, etc..) BTW - I think this would be a really fun team-building event for any companies out there, especially if you're a competitive bunch. If you want to do something different from the usual with your friends, sign up.  They'll soon have some adult beverages available too!  Hopefully you ahve as much fun as I did.

I can't say enough about the kind heart and generosity of Nick and his business. My motorcycle…read morebroke down a few blocks away and I asked to use his loading dock. Nick hooked up his trailer and drove his truck to transport my bike and didn't ask for a dime. He helped a stranger in need knowing he would get nothing in return. Nick and his crew let me to use their tools and charged my battery while still asking for nothing in return. They stored my motorcycle overnight while the battery charged. How We Roll Motorsports helped me even though I wasn't a customer and knowing I had no intentions of buying anything. Nick helped me because he is a good person and I imagine he treats his customers the same. If you're looking for off road vehicles, dirt bike, utv, I would recommend How We Roll Motorsports because I can attest that Nick and his team will go the extra mile to help a customer because they did so much to help a stranger. Turns out that it has been broken for THREE YEARS. These races are pretty pricey, and they make you pay for an annual membership as well, so it's kind of crazy that they don't have a working AC in Texas. I asked if there were fans, and they literally have one fan. We waited an hour for a ten minute race. It was fun, and I can really see the appeal for teenage boys to flock here, which was the major demographic I saw. One of the employees was really rude when I didn't have my feet in the right place while he was doing the safety check. He could've just told me what to do politely, but he was so disrespectful for no reason. My car wasn't even turned on yet.

Went for the Funny Car Chaos event . The didnt play the National Anthem Fri. Their speakers system…read morebroke some time on Sat so you could not hear the event or the changes they made in schedule. The restrooms were overfilled with toilet paper and carp by early after noon on sat, by night fall were 10xs worse and no ambient lighting . All you could see were piles of toilet paper in the darkness. No verity of food vendors , the biggest place selling food (the only place besides the tracks blue shed)sold pulled pork and a bag of chips. Texans dont eat much pulled pork if at all. Worse of all is 90% of the cars didn't make a full pass and many were loaded in trailers by early sat. The cars that did make a full run, ran slow or ran like a bracket car. The track was to "cold" in 65-80 degree temps, or just bad track. These folks really need to step it up if they want fans coming back . Also non of the pretty amenities were available like in their website all was disabled or dismantled . To much money spent and to many people there on a half @$$ ran event. No dig on Funny Car Chaos, they tried as best they could.
