There were eleven of us that attended this exciting fun-filled opportunity. We wanted to get ideas on what we are using currently for social media; SEO understanding and help on what will be the re-launch design of our website. Our trainer and "motivational speaker" was one of the owners, Kori Ashton. She let us know that this is a family run business and she is co-partners with her mom and dad; how cool is that? You can tell that she really loves what she does and if you decide to take a class and are lucky to have her as your trainer she will keep you fully engaged and believe it or not, laughing. She introduced us to two other members of her staff, Jason Merrell who is one of the lead developers and Corrissa Neal also a web designer. These two were equally helpful at giving us direction and making great suggestions for our social media platform. Her office is very inviting and the décor says "creative" & "inspire"! I encourage anyone attempting to build a website, have an existing website or needing help with Word Press, to take a class here. I will be coming back for help with my own website and fully trust that any advice I receive from this team, will help me meet the goals I hope to achieve.

The Zeitung was the German language paper for the large German immigrant population of the area. These days, the paper has some national news stories off of the Associated Press wire, and a bit of local writing as well. Expect to see a heavy focus on Canyon and New Braunfels High School Sports. Go Unicorns! The newspaper has been around forever, and is one of the oldest newspapers in the state. During the Civil War, the paper kept writing pro-Confederacy articles, while the town of New Braunfels leaned more to the Union. The town got mad at one of the editor's articles, and threw the newspaper's printing press into the river. The editor fished it out, and kept on printing his pro-Confederacy propaganda. When the Great Flood of '98 hit, this place got nearly wiped off the map, but the journalists went swimming through the floodwaters to save the computers and critical information. The horoscopes are always cosmically right on. It's a good read, and a fair, balanced newspaper.

He came over with his equipment and wore a mask at my request. He was very flexible with our needs. He was good at giving instruction/direction as well as making sure we were getting the shots we wanted. We had about 18 people total including kids and had some ideas in mind of what type of photos we wanted. He spent a little over an hour with us and it only took 3 days to receive the final product with editing. He edited all photos that were taken and sent the photos in a link for everyone to download.
