This is a small park in downtown Cancun away from the hotel zone. We visited due to an article I…read morefound for cheap things to do. It's very wooded and jungle-like even though it's in the middle of town. There's a big wide trail for people to walk/jog on. I was hoping to see some wildlife as we were walking, but there wasn't much at the start. However, as we continued, we saw some movement ahead! There were a TON of coatis! It was a family group foraging on both sides of the trail. They completely ignored the runners who went by us. One little guy even ran right by me! I had never seen these animals before, and it was such a treat! There is a small museum which we didn't visit. We were too hot from the walk. There is also a small pond area where there are turtles and a crocodile. It's free to get in so it's a good place to explore if you want something more quiet and laid back on your travels.

I personally didn't find it too long to walk in, just an average length enough to do some exercise routine, walk the dog, walk with your loved one, and it has an amazing view to the lagoon. it is a good choice if you want to be in contact with mother nature. The thing that I didn't like was watching people lying on the floor doing picnic sessions... I really really dislike that kind of behavior specially since they don't clean up afterwards , and also that lie down in the floor and take a nap, like if they were hobos or something. Not that I have something against them, I just dislike the fact that doing that it takes away the magic of the place. Overall it is a great spot to visit here in Cancun.
