He makes the best little keg Tooth fish fried nuggets I have ever had. Excellent. He also makes this amuse bouche of broccoli with a peanut sauce my hubby LOVES! He LOVES this place & wanted to go there every night! Lol The owner is somewhat of a celebrity in Puerto Escondido. We were celebrating our 3 year wedding anniversary on this trip, so we went all out. We ordered aguachile negro, tuna carpaccio, pulpo, vuelve a la vida, suerito, huachinango, and a few cocktails. Salad, potato wedges, and tortillas also came with our meal. Everything was nicely presented and tasted great! All of the dishes were so flavorful. We ended up ordering more of our favorites for our first dinner stop. There was also a young lady playing some tunes, so it made the ambience a little more romantic. She doesn't work for the restaurant, so we just gave her a tip before she left. The only complaint I have is that mosquitos and flies were buzzing around once the sun was starting to set. Other than that, I had a wonderful time here.

There is a lovely outdoor terra cotta patio you can sit on that has a lovely view of the ocean. I love that. They also make fantastic drinks. The coffee is very good here too. Now on to the best part the food! This place has the best Oaxacan cheese queso with mushroom I have found in Port. And they have the best two hot salsas! YUM! I mean they are HOT! Woohoo! Love that! The seafood dishes are super fresh & simple but cooked to perfection. If you want a small steak for lunch they serve a fabulous Arrachera with vegetables that is to die for. I love the portion size, it's just perfect for a light lunch. What I love most about this place is that they do the vegetables perfectly. Every single thing Hubby & I have ordered the vegetables on the side are always cooked perfectly. Crunchy & never over cooked. Who ever is the chef at this place knows what's he's doing, & is very passionate about the food bc it always comes out perfectly. I love to eat vegetables but most places overcook them. This places does them right every time. They serve breakfast, lunch & dinner, however, what I don't like about this place is it's located on the Andador. During the day it's great. After dark the area gets so packed with tourist that it doesn't make for a very good dinner place. Too many people, too loud & too crazy being right on the Andador for a "dinner out" kind of evening. Recommend for breakfast, brunch & lunch only.

I had a really nice michelada with my lunch. They brought out complimentary chips and salsa. The habanero salsa was to die for. I also liked the carrots. The third was meh, not sure what it was exactly but it seemed more like something I'd want to dip bread into. Tacos were large and came with all the fixings. Avocado was a little underripe. Fish was delicious however. I also appreciated that they had born corn and flour tacos (for no additional charge). Overall I don't think I'd rush back but it was definitely a decent lunch!

A lot of the reviews here mention long wait and I would have to agree. There is usually a bit of a wait. I came in with a party of 8 so we were told the wait would roughly be 35 minutes, but it came to only 20 minutes. We were seated and the decorations and inside were very fun. The vibes were great and the people were having a great time while the staff helped further lighten up the environment. I asked for recommendations and was told that all the house ceviches were delicious. I went with the Peruvian Ceviche which had tiger milk in it. It was my first time trying Peruvian ceviche and was not disappointed. The flavors were very well balanced and loved all the different textures in the plate. I also ordered a Michelada, which was quite tasty!
