As such, it has very little shaded areas aside from the covered shelters, playgrounds & amphitheater. I come here couple times a week for the boys soccer events and practice. The lawns are usually well kept and even. It's great for many types of workouts, walks, etc. It's a great spot to catch a sunset on a clear day as well. The bathroom facilities were ok, sparsely located for this sized park.

One of the highlights was that the city gave out free kites to all guests. The turnout was great, and the atmosphere was lively. One large field was dedicated to kite flying, while a baseball outfield was set up as a kids' zone with several bounce houses for different age groups. We brought a picnic setup and beach chairs and truly enjoyed spending the day here. Overall, it was a wonderful event, and this park is a great place to visit!
