Had surgery done on the 24th of May have called about having troubles drinking and having bad pain in my ear like being stabbed in the ear. Talked to his nurse she told me she would talk with Dr. And would call me back days later still no call. After surgery he talked with my wife while I was in recovery and never seen him again the 3 days I was in the hospital. read more

This is more about the smoke free campus at UK Hospital…read more Every door Exit/Entry we went near had smokers standing next to no smoking signs. My two small boys and I got hot dogs from the street vendor and walked to a nice open area with bench's. Unfortunately the open benches were right next to people smoking sitting/standing, again right next to the no smoking signs. We had to just walk and eat to try to avoid the bellowing smoke.

Being new to the area I needed an orthopedic doctor to look at an injury. I went to a Lexington…read moreClinic Urgent Care Clinic and was pleasantly surprised to discover they offered a walking clinic specializing in orthopedic care. The clinic was a one stop shop for my injury. They had X-ray onsite. It took less than an hour for me to be seen by a nurse practitioner, X-rayed, and put into a cast. My follow up visits were equally as efficient. An orthopedic clinic was a brilliant concert and my medical treatment was excellent. Hope I never need them again but glad to know something like this is available if I do.

Greeted by two soft spoken friendly faces. They had me sign a registration form and gave me an…read moreelectronic call back device like in a busy restaurant (a pager if you will). The waiting area was really clean and modern. They had complimentary water and coffee sitting around for patrons. They use a lot of elderly volunteers to help take the extra stress off some of the nurses and other hospital staff. At this, I was very impressed. I didn't have to wait too long both times I went here. One time, just for blood work and the last time a full blown knee surgery. They have a specific waiting room just for out patient surgery. In that room, they have a tv set up just to keep loved ones updated on the patients status by way of a tracking number assigned to them when they register. It is very impressive. While being prepped for surgery, I was put into a room by myself and made extremely comfortable. I had my own tv to watch and enough room to relax. I was checked on every so often by random nurses and staff. I was also walked through the up and coming procedure by the anesthesiologist and the surgeon. This is the most detailed explanation I have ever received before any of my multi surgeries. I could see how this would be helpful to people and their loved ones going under the knife for the first time. I was in and out of surgery really quickly. If I need surgery again, I will really not hesitate about coming back here. Great job guys.

I've had two babies with Dr Steele, first she delivered because she was on call the day I went in…read more I loved her during delivery so much that I switched to her for my second baby. I saw her midwives in office and they made me feel cared and like they always had time for my questions- I never felt rushed during my prenatal appointments. I also never had to wait more than 30 minutes (waited almost an hour at my other OB). Second delivery with Dr Steele was another textbook awesome experience. her office is small, sometimes you'll wait on hold for a bit to get an appointment scheduled. i have had to call twice to get an answer to a question but they did get back to me and make it right. This is the only reason I didn't give a 5 star review. I would 100% recommend Dr Steele and her midwives for OB care.
