This move was from Medford, OR to CA. PNMS was hired to pack up the home and move us. When we met Solomon we were very comfortable with the quote and the process as he explained it to us. From the beginning the communication was poor and responses were slow. We already had work start dates and needed to know the schedule. I want to be really clear that this review has very little to do with the crew, they were awesome. They were professional, considerate of our things and very polite. There was a mix up with the paperwork regarding the insurance and I was asked to sign off with the addition of an insurance company we wanted to use. Austin explained this all to me but I needed to ask my husband who we were using for the insurance. Austin explained that I NEEDED to sign but that he would leave the paperwork on the counter for me to complete. I was unaware of the fact that Austin's partner was going into labor and he was dealing with that as well. The following day the crew showed up to pack the truck and begin the drive to CA, Austin was not there and I was informed about his situation at home. The, I assumed, lead guy that day told me that he would try to track down that paperwork before they left...I never saw it, and then they were gone. Fast forward to delivery day, only 2 guys were here to unload 2 trucks at a two story house. Again, these guys worked their tails off and continued to be awesome! Unfortunately, 1 of our 4 plasma screen TVs was damaged during the move. They took a screen shot of the back of the broken TV, sent it to Solomon and I was told that it would be replaced by the exact TV. Then came the grill. A $1,200 grill was destroyed, beyond repair. I looked as if it was rammed by a tree trunk, the dent so deep it broke the steel seal around the door, broke both of the heat gauges so that they don't' work at all. I contacted Solomon about the damages. First thing off he tried to blame Austin for "bullying me into signing paperwork" which i IMMEDIATELY told him that was not the case, I was NEVER spoke to that way. I was really shocked the way he spoke about his crew! After 2 weeks of back and forth phone texts with sending multiple photos of the damaged grill, Solomon chose to ignore any talk about the grill and said he was going to "get a TV from Amazon and send it to us". I reminded him that he received a screen shot of the TV that was to be replaced and he said he didn't get any screen shots!! More back and forth and we decided to request that he just send us the money. He sent us a grand total of $499. All that being said, I would definitely not recommend doing business with SOLOMON SWEGAR. Buyer beware that you are giving your money to someone that has no respect for his workers and will take advantage of any and all loop holes to avoid replacing damaged items. This is my first negative Yelp review ever, but I felt strongly about shining a light on a shady guy!

She arranged for everything - staff who were kind, respectful and extremely hard working, cleaned out the whole mess. Linda got dumpsters delivered, and contacted organizations that took away the recyclables and donations in a timely fashion. I almost cried when I saw the result. The project was also well priced. So thankful and will definitely call them when it comes time to move.!

First, the good news. The movers she hired to load up my parents pod were excellent. They were courteous, fast, and did an excellent job. Linda, however, was so unprofessional. She didn't show up to meetings, was late, and lost a precious family heirloom that she had in her possession (she sent me photos to make sure she had the right piece). Linda assured us that she would consign as much of the items left as possible. She refused to even try to consign anything once we had left. She was supposed to donate as many items as she could, and with the recent fires we were sure many people could use what we left behind. She did donate a few things. Finally, she put me off for months about losing the shelf that she was supposed to mail to me in Feb. Once she finally admitted to losing the item in April, she agreed to send some cash to replace it. Something made by your great grandfather in the 1920's is really irreplaceable. She never did send the cash she assured she would. If your loved one needs help moving, don't trust that Linda will take care of everything.

I looked on Craigslist for a few minutes, called James, he answered right away and told me he would be able to help me that day, which was a huge relief. He was able to give me an eta once he had his friend Landon on board to assist, and was very communicative with texts and calls. He showed up on time (I believe within two hours of my initial call) and got right to work. They were super professional, affordable, and all around good guys. I'm extremely happy with their service and I would definitely hire them again.

If you are looking for a mover in the Medford+ area, just stop scrolling and call James now. If I could give him 10 stars, I would. He was communicative throughout the move, accommodated our last minute move request and went above and beyond in moving our items. From gently wrapping things to staying until all the furniture was exactly where we wanted it. The moving industry is such a hit and miss area but James is an example of what is possible. He truly cares about his customers and will get you moved quickly and easily.

Despite the fact that packing up the house was included in our contract and paid for, the movers were angry and negligent packing up items, they did not wrap breakable items, label boxes, or even box everything. They left behind items in cabinets and closets and when we called them to come back, they never answered, leaving us to scramble with what to do with items we needed (even though they said they would be available by phone). They also didn't take any inventory of our items and lost some very important items. They also severely scratched the flooring moving out the washing machine. Upon arrival to our new home, our things were dirty and covered in dust/sand from the truck. The team complained and were rude the entire time they moved our items in and they did not follow our instructions on where to place boxes in the house. I usually trust Yelp reviews that are so positive as below, but something must have changed in the practices of this company. I hope to protect other people relocating by providing this honest review.

We hired Almighty Movers for a confirmed move on November 22, 2025. The owner, Justin, personally confirmed the night before at 4:50 p.m. that a 4-man crew would arrive between 8:00-8:30 a.m. the next morning. He knew from my earlier email on November 13 that we had only three days to complete our move after our home closed on November 19, and that we had to be out that day to meet a strict contractual deadline. There was no flexibility at all, and he accepted the job with full understanding of this. One hour before the scheduled arrival time, I received a text from Justin that said: "Move will need to be postponed until Sunday. Hope that's okay." There was no phone call, just a text. I called immediately because postponing was not possible. He did not answer. I texted back explaining we had a hard deadline and needed the crew that morning. He replied briefly that he was "on it" and trying to find a smaller crew. That was the last communication I received. He did not return my call. He did not provide an update. No one ever arrived. At 10 a.m., after receiving no information at all, I asked for my deposit back. It was refunded through Venmo, but I received no message confirming the refund or acknowledging the situation. Communication simply ended. Because the cancellation happened with only one hour's notice, and because the company was fully aware of our immovable timeline, my husband and I were forced to complete the entire move ourselves -- including all packing, furniture, boxes, and garage/outdoor items. This was roughly 36 hours of professional labor we had to replace in a single day. I have lupus, and the physical strain triggered a severe flare. I was unable to work the following Monday, resulting in lost wages, along with significant physical pain and stress. The entire reason we hired movers and were willing to pay the $2,500 price tag, was because of my health limitations, and being abandoned like this caused us tremendous hardship. On November 25, I emailed the company with a detailed description of what happened and offered 14 days for a reasonable resolution. I received no response of any kind. I have since learned through the Oregon Department of Justice website that this is not the company's first complaint, something I truly wish I had known before hiring them. As someone who has worked in real estate, I understand how critical reliability is during a move, and I have notified colleagues so they can help protect their clients. I cannot imagine this happening to an elderly couple or someone without the physical ability to complete an entire move alone. I have filed formal complaints with: * Oregon Department of Justice * ODOT Household Goods Movers Enforcement * FMCSA * BBB My hope is that sharing my experience prevents another family -- especially someone medically vulnerable -- from going through what we endured.
