We were referred to him and I'm happy to say I would definitely contact Jerry again for future landscaping needs. Jerry installed for us three 30-gallon Foxtail Palms in our front yard and two triple Robolini Palms in our backyard, as well as performing landscape cleanup around our pool enclosure. The work was done quickly and efficiently and we are very happy with the results!! Jerry is quite knowledgeable with all things landscaping and we were happy with the price and work he did for us. We will be a repeat customer, I'm sure!

Jerry Jackson, the owner of Southern Lakes Landscape is a man of his word. He shows up on time,…read morecompletes the work when he says he will and is very knowledgeable about all things related to landscape design and what plants will do well and look beautiful. We had 3 different landscape companies give us quotes and ideas for our front yard landscaping and we are so glad we chose Southern Lakes Landscape. We get complements every day from passers by. After living here for 14 years, our yard needed updating and I can't be happier! Along with pulling out overgrown plants and changing the shape of our garden beds and putting in a beautiful landscape edging we also had some areas of sod replaced in both the front and the back and when he left you honestly could not see where new sod was placed, it was level with the existing sod and vibrantly green! He also changed out sprinkler heads and made sure they were all aimed correctly. Thank you again, Jerry!

I contacted David Ireland again to trim my live oak on the side of my house after experiencing…read morefirsthand his professionalism and work ethic in 2023. (See previous review.) He came out, quoted a price for the trimming and noticed I had another invasive plant he recommended should be removed. It was a camphor tree that was growing into the live oak. I agreed to have it removed and he adjusted his price accordingly. I went down to our City Hall to obtain the proper paperwork for the removal of the tree. David and his team member came out to complete the work a few weeks later. During the process, he found mistletoe in a tree next to the camphor tree he took down. He said this tree should be removed also given the mistletoe (also invasive!) was slowing killing this tree and if it transfers over to the live oak, I will have a real problem. He said we need to adjust the paperwork to reflect removal of the tree with the mistletoe. I said I would go down and get the revised paperwork, but he knew our clerk at City Hall. He called her up, sent her pictures of the mistletoe and tree and she adjusted the paperwork on the spot, so I didn't even have to drive down to City Hall. David gave me an adjusted price, and I told him to continue with the work. I appreciate the effort David puts into his work as well as his knowledge of invasive plants. If you live in the Edgewood area, you really need to get a quote from him before you hire any other tree company. You will not be sorry. Ireland's Tree Service serves the greater Orlando and surrounding area so if you live outside the City of Edgewood, you should consider him also.

Our new home sits on an acre so we have a lot of grass to care for. We depended on Bioganic's service to keep our lawn healthy. Then they switched our technician and ALL WENT DOWNHILL. The grass started getting an odd discoloration in one specific place. We alerted the technician who told us we're not watering enough. VERY ODD! How is it possible that only one particular place wasn't getting water while the rest of the lawn was fine. We checked all sprinkler heads and everything worked perfectly. The technician kept INSISTING that the issue was watering. Sometimes he said we're not watering enough while in other times he insisted we're overwatering. He kept IGNORING our pleas when we told him the grass is getting worse and that, whatever it is, it is spreading and killing the grass. We brought up numerous times that maybe it's due to chinch bugs. Once again-our tech blamed watering and said IT IS NOT chinch bugs. Months went by as we watched our lawn die. We wanted to trust that Bioganic was doing its job. We emailed and called them. They sent a manager out who, upon arrival, said they came to test the irrigation system. We explained that the irrigation was tested numerous times by the tech. That the problem here must be something else. They kept ignoring us. Didn't even bother to check for chinch bugs. In addition to the chinch bugs, mealybugs had INFESTED most of our shrubs and hedges. We complained about the services and even cut the weeds service because we noticed (via our security cameras) that our tech wasn't spraying all the flower beds. We decided to be thorough and called UF, several irrigation companies, and three lawn experts. Upon a two minute test, the chinch bugs were confirmed. By this time our front and back yard was INFESTED WITH CHINCH BUGS!!!!!! We immediately fired Bioganic and called several companies to fix what they DESTROYED! Additionally, we had three companies give us a quote for replacing the damaged sod (that according to the UF Extension Office) will NEVER grow back. The damage: $20,000!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you hire this company - know that they might DESTROY your lawn.

Some of the other reviews mention the attention detail he provides, which is an understatement, he is literally the 'lawn-whisperer'! A&T is like having your own personal, gardener. When I go out in the yard, I notice the cut-outs he's established in the garden-beds, sometimes there are a few added plants, and I appreciate the creativity, imagination, and love. Since both my husband & I have been working from home, I ended up with a weekly, standing call on the day A&T usually comes. I felt bad asking him to adjust his schedule, but I had no choice. Anthony was incredibly responsive to my needs and immediately accommodated my request. Recently, we asked Anthony to cut our neighbors lawn, because they had fallen on some hard times and the lawn had been neglected and was more than just a little out-of-hand. Anthony & the guys knocked it out very quickly. My neighbor has been able to keep it up on his own now. We were both very grateful to A&T for the assistance. We love A&T & hope you give them a try!
