Not only does Dr. Stepanovic offer good medical care, he offers care. He's kept my mother alive, which is no small achievement. She's now 94. And my aunt has had several cardiac issues, and at 81, she is out and about and still enjoying life. What he offers that very few physicians offers is a level of care. He has tremendous interpersonal skills. He spends time with his patients. He remembers his patients. He takes extra time with his patients, so that they don't feel like the typical managed-care numbers. Another thing that impressed me is his understanding of how the medical-industrial complex works, and how he takes time to make sure his patients aren't swallowed up. When I accompanied my mother to her cardiology appointment this year, I needed some forms from him, because Mom was having another (unrelated) surgery. He sat down, then and there, and completed the forms. He told me, make sure to get his front desk staff to print them out and make a set of copies for me. He said that the surgi-center would surely want a copy of Mom's EKG. He emailed it while I was with him, and then he said, they're probably going to lose it. I'll give you a copy to take with you. (By the way, he was right. The surgery center DID lose the EKG. But because I had a copy with me, Mom's outpatient surgery was able to proceed on schedule.) Do you know how good this guy is? The nurses like him. I've been to the hospital often enough that I know to ask the nurses about the doctors, and boy oh boy, has that been helpful. No one has a bad thing to say about Stepanovic. He treats the surgical staff well, too. I highly recommend Zlatan Stepanovic, MD. I don't know the other physicians in his practice and can't discuss them. I just feel lucky we found this guy.

From the owner: As an electrophysiologist, I specialize in diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disorders, known as…read morearrhythmias. The electrical system of the heart controls its rhythm, signaling it to beat in a regular, coordinated way to pump blood effectively. When this system malfunctions, it can lead to irregular or dangerous heartbeats, affecting heart function and potentially putting a patient at risk. I use a range of advanced techniques and tools to assess these conditions, often starting with tests like electrocardiograms (EKG), Holter monitors, and event recorders that track the heart’s electrical activity. For more detailed diagnosis, I may conduct an electrophysiology study, a procedure that maps the electrical pathways within the heart to identify specific sites of rhythm disturbance. Treatment options I provide include medications, lifestyle adjustments, and, in many cases, interventional procedures. One of the primary treatments I perform is catheter ablation—a minimally invasive procedure where targeted areas of heart tissue causing irregular beats are destroyed, restoring normal rhythm. I also implant devices like pacemakers and defibrillators to regulate heartbeats. My goal is to diagnose and treat arrhythmias effectively, helping patients manage their symptoms and improve their quality of life through both preventative and corrective measures.

My PCP is also part of Northwest Health and I can't say enough good things about him. But these three doctors were on top of everything. Always communicating. Making me feel better. I suffer from terrible CPTSD and they went above and beyond to make sure I was doing well and better. In the past I never liked this hospital due to previous experiences but now, thanks to Drs. Choudry, Reddy and Singla I will go back again and again. If I find their practice or specialty I will go to them without any hesitation. Hospital impecable clean. Nurses empathetic and techs always asking if there's anything I needed. Best experience of my life.
