This is because there is such a great range of stylists working out of there. Also I guess because you can get a fashionable trendy cut (or a short back and sides) with out it costing a fortune. There are specialist barbers there as well as qualified colourists, plus the junior staff and the trainees. The chap who runs this shop has been in the business a very long time and works hard to maintain the well known name of the salon and sets high standards for the other hairdressers working from there.

A couple of years ago I made an appointment for cut and colour having had my hair done there before when staff were seemingly a bit more customer service oriented. I ended up walking out of that appointment due to the technician telling me she just wouldn't have the time... Here we are again I thought I would give them another chance since it would be nice not to have to cart myself to Leeds every time I want to go to the salon. Unfortunately the staff on the phone seem to think customer questions are a nuisance. I understand fully well I need a skin test done for colour and I offered to come over this morning for that to be done. I'm asking for all over colour which correct me if I'm wrong is fairly straight forward none rocket science procedure and a hair cut. I really don't know how they have stayed in business so long since they have some pretty bad customer service and seemingly no time to do what their business advertises they do. Not going to bother again, this salon can go do one.

As well as the hairdressers there is a beauty therapist upstairs that offers all the usual stuff like waxing, facials etc. I've never been up there but my girlfriend says they are good. Situated on my doorstep almost and very affordable means that this salon is perfect for me. The staff are friendly and are able to tailor their talents to meet your criteria, from 5 year olds to 95 year olds. They also have students there so you can get your self a cheap hairdo, but don't worry they are watched over and what they are doing is monitored.

Also when i was getting my hair cut there was an argument with a female customer and the manager/boss i couldn't believe my eyes when this man the manager/boss started shooting at the top of his voice "get the Fword out of my salon I am not going to give you a Fword-ing penny back", the girl was getting more upset and hysterical , i thought that some of the older stylists who worked in the salon would of stepped in to try and calm the situation down but no, they seemed to be afraid and looked away ignoring argument, then the man steeped in very close in a threatening behaviour and seemed to push his head against her forehead and forcibly push her away, the poor girl turned and left the salon while he uttered "Don't Fword-ing come back". I asked my stylist what was all that about, she said "shush don't say anything" with an intense fear on her face.
