Fantastic and meticulous hair cut and beard trim. 10/10. One of the best and most thorough cuts I've ever gotten. Sam's a delightful person.

I don't let anyone else in San Diego touch my hair…read more Andy runs a phenomenal shop- high standards, clean, friendly, and a traditional barbershop culture. He knows all of his clients by name, learns their preferences and truly "sells confidence." He has been my go-to and part of my life's routine for over a year now, and that was after trying a dozen other barbers around. They just can't compete with the cut or family that he engenders with his business. I personally get my hair cut by Andy or Kandice, but you can't go wrong with anyone on his team. He's deliberate with each hire, so each can deliver the Debonair brand. Truly, I can't speak highly enough of this barbershop. Whether you're in San Diego for a weekend, or live here permanently, do yourself a favor and make an appointment.

Yet, he's out in Hillcrest having a blast. Look, maybe if you were a professional and didn't let your personal issues affect your judgment. We would have this problem. But here we are. Melissa there on the other hand was great. Took me in and catered to my needs. Gave her a fat tip for being so flexible and not expecting me to cover the supply costs prior to the appointment.

I've been getting my haircut with Romero for about a year. When I first moved to San Diego I was…read morestruggling to find a reliable barber. During my first cut with Romero he took the time to hear out what it was I was wanting for my cut. Since the first cut I have kept coming back to him. The quality of his work has remained consistent since I first started coming here. I leave the shop with a pristine mid taper every time. I strongly recommend going to Romero if you are in the San Diego area. I've tried numerous other shops in San Diego, Classic Cuts is by far the best. The shop is always clean when I come in. Everyone is friendly & welcoming. Although I haven't personally gotten a haircut from the other barbers, it is easy to see they all provide quality cuts.

Jay, in particular, is very professional, punctual, and is the best barber and stylist I've ever worked with. I recently decided to change my hairstyle and trusted Jay to come up with the look. Needless to say, he largely exceeded my expectations and I've received countless compliments on the change. While Jay is my guy, Will, Colton, and Romero (and the rest of the team, of course) are exceptional barbers as well. I've used their services when Jay was unavailable or away, and they've always delivered great results. The atmosphere is always positive, the music is great, and you can always expect friendly faces ready to greet you. Another major reason I first tried Classic Cuts was the convenience of booking ahead, which was very important to me due to my busy schedule as a business owner. Their online booking system is very easy to use. Honestly, if it weren't for the great reviews and the ability to schedule ahead, I never would've discovered Classic Cuts in the first place.

My hairstyle is like a mid length pushback white guy hairstyle. She does a really good job texturing the sides and overall just does a really good job listening to what you want. I've gone to a lot of different barbers since moving to San Diego 10 years ago, always looking for someone who can give me a consistent cut every time. I specifically asked for a bob haircut with longer hair in the front and a short, graduated back. Instead, I got an uneven trim with the front cut shorter--the exact opposite of what I requested. What I received for $52 was nowhere close to a proper bob haircut. To make matters worse, while doing my hair, the stylist caught my earring with her comb and ripped it out of my ear. The earring fell somewhere in the salon and was never found. If they did not have a stylist capable of doing the haircut I requested, they should have simply told me. I would have gone somewhere else. Instead, they assigned me to someone who clearly did not have the skills to perform this basic haircut. The lack of professionalism extended to the front desk. The young receptionist was dressed in what looked like boy-short underwear rather than appropriate work clothing, with much of her backside exposed. Completely inappropriate and unprofessional for someone working at the reception desk of a business. Bad haircut, lost earring, poor judgment, and an extremely unprofessional atmosphere. I will not return to this location.
