I recently organized for James Dougherty Home Improvements to install the new shingle roof on my…read moreparents' ranch house, and the entire experience was excellent. This is actually my second round working with their company--they previously completed a brand new rubber and new shingle roof combination for me, and they did such a great job that I had no hesitation calling them again. I asked my parents to observe the work and report back to me, and they were just as impressed. The workmanship on their new shingle roof was top-quality--the roof looks fantastic, and the care and attention to detail really show. They also made my parents feel completely comfortable throughout the process and went above and beyond to be kind and respectful. James was incredibly helpful every step of the way. He explained everything in simple, easy-to-understand terms, which made it easy for both me and my parents to follow along. Even our smallest questions were answered with patience, and I genuinely felt like we learned a lot from him. From start to finish, the project went smoothly, and the professionalism of the team gave all of us real peace of mind. We will absolutely be recommending James Dougherty Home Improvements to family, friends, and business contacts for their excellent service.

I first contacted James several years ago for a roof leak. He quickly identified the problem and…read morerepaired it. Eventually, the time came to get a new roof altogether and he quoted me a good price for a metal one. He and his team (Eric and Mike) installed a beautiful roof on our house with a matching roof on our backyard shed. They were very professional and conscientious about doing the job properly. He has also installed our new basement windows. I have recommended him to several friends and neighbors and they are all quite happy with his work. His talents are wide and varied; so he has pretty much become my "go to" guy for any project I can't handle. He is honest and straightforward. I strongly recommend him.

I came across Wertz Handyman Service through social media after seeing multiple people rave about…read moreboth the quality of work and the pricing. I had a small (but important) project at my house and knew I wanted to hire someone who was a legitimate, professional business -- not just a "guy with a truck." Think: licensed, insured, organized, and trustworthy. Adam Wertz checked all of those boxes and then some. From the very first interaction, Adam was incredibly responsive. He quickly scheduled a time to come out, take a look at the project, and provide a quote -- which he turned around just as quickly. His communication was clear, professional, and easy to follow every step of the way. One thing I especially appreciated was his use of a web-based system for quotes, scheduling, invoicing, and payment. It made the entire process seamless and super convenient -- no back-and-forth confusion, no chasing paperwork, just straightforward and efficient. Once I approved the quote, we got on the schedule, and Adam showed up right on time (which already puts him ahead of a lot of contractors I've worked with in the past). He got straight to work, no nonsense, and completed the project efficiently while still making sure everything was done right. Before wrapping up, he made sure I was happy with the finished result and even offered to come back if any issues popped up -- which speaks volumes about the kind of service he provides. It's not always easy to find someone you feel comfortable trusting to work on your home, but Adam absolutely earned that trust. I'm really glad I found Wertz Handyman Service and will definitely be using him again for future projects. If you're looking for someone reliable, professional, and easy to work with, this is it!
