They have a very extensive portfolio on their website, which I loved as it really gave me a sense of the style of filming and editing they do. Once I sent an inquiry, Christina was very responsive and informative. She was also great with communicating with us and our other vendors the few weeks leading up to the wedding, making sure her team's equipment would work with our DJ's audio setup. On wedding day, Christina was absolutely lovely to work with. As someone with no experience being on camera, I loved that she gave tips on suggested movements to make that appeared really natural and beautifully on camera. She made us feel at ease with all the advice. Christina's ability to speak Chinese was a great bonus - it made coordinating with our Chinese-speaking family members much easier and kept everyone on the same page. My partner and I have our own unique story, like everyone in love, and we chose to honor it not through a conventional wedding but by starting a family. His proposal on bended knee, while we walked an idyllic beach in the Caribbean, was not to have a party but to have a baby. And so we did (3 weeks ago!). Eli was able to capture this connection in a special photoshoot in the late stages of my pregnancy - two days before I gave birth, actually - of the two of us awaiting our third. My partner is particularly camera shy and tends to just go goofy but Eli is a master at creating a comfort zone for his "subjects". We were laughing, and laughing at how much we were laughing, throughout the shoot. It was such a positive experience that, 10 days later, we asked Eli to photograph the baby naming/ Bris of our son. So now we have cherished memories, from two separate but linked events, of our young family. I can't praise the quality of the photos enough, especially from the Bris. From the moment we decided to work with Ron, he became part of the wedding. He really guided us on how to make things run smooth the day of our wedding. It was truly important that we had a photographer that we felt comfortable with and who would listen to what we wanted. From our very first meeting to the day of the wedding, Ron would always check up on me and see how I'm doing before the big day. Ron's creative eye is incredible. He is a perfectionist and will keep taking a shot until he gets the perfect mixture of angle and lighting. His fellow photographer, Mae, would fix every stray hair and made sure every detail was in place from our clothing to our poses. Nothing could be worse than taking tons of pictures then realizing the whole time that your hair was out of place or your collar was crooked! None of that happened on their watch. We also arranged to have a post-wedding photo shoot at the Cosmopolitan hotel in Vegas, and I didn't have to plan a thing. Ron and his lighting assistant scouted the area the night before and picked out all of the places. He captured so many amazing photos using the environment around us. I never could've pictured any of those shots in my mind, so I am glad that he took control and guided us through it all.
