Super easy to work with and got some really good shots that we are very happy with. Friendly, warm and kind, while also being very focused on the job. read more

We honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about Jeff; From the very beginning, several weeks before our wedding, he was absolutely amazing. What started as a photographer-client relationship quickly became a genuine friendship, and by the time our wedding arrived, it felt like Jeff was one of our friends who just happened to be there capturing every special moment. Jeff was with us for two full days, covering every part of our wedding celebrations, and he was incredible from start to finish. On Day 1, he captured our afternoon Indian Haldi ceremony at Sachin's sister's house before joining us that evening for our Welcome Party, Mendi and Henna celebrations. He made everyone feel comfortable, and he somehow managed to capture all the little moments, emotions, laughter and craziness that made the evening so special. Then came Day 2, which was the incredibly full wedding day. Jeff was there early to capture pre-ceremony photos. He then captured our multicultural wedding ceremony, followed by personal photographs, whilst somehow having time to simultaneously capture our guests throughout the cocktail hour; Jeff was with us throughout the reception into the night. Despite how much was happening over the two days, Jeff was always very calm, professional, energetic and completely on top of everything. One of the things that impressed us most was how brilliantly Jeff worked with everyone else involved in our wedding. He was in perfect sync with our videographer and wedding planner, and the three of them worked together seamlessly. He also coordinated incredibly well with the team at El Prado Hotel in Palo Alto, making sure everything ran smoothly without ever making us feel like we had anything to worry about. But beyond his incredible photography and professionalism, what really stood out was Jeff himself. Our family and friends absolutely loved him. He has such a wonderful personality and was able to blend into the celebrations while still being incredibly attentive to what needed to be captured. He made people laugh, put everyone at ease and somehow managed to be everywhere he needed to be without ever feeling intrusive. He didn't just photograph our wedding -- he became part of it. We are so grateful that Jeff was there to capture these memories for us. Looking back, we know we made the right choice, not only because of the incredible photographs he captured, but because of the experience we had with him along the way. We would recommend Jeff to anyone without hesitation. Jeff, thank you for everything. We absolutely loved having you with us. read more

Jeff is an absolutely fantastic wedding photographer. We are very happy with both the quality and quantity of all the photos. Jeff is THE MAN. We gave ourselves 5 months to plan a wedding for 130 people, and Jeff was the "preferred vendor" for our venue. We met him at the venue open house and immediately knew that he would be great. Jeff is confident, experienced, and chill. He'll both let you take the lead and will guide you (or ask you how pushy you want him to be to get the job done). He's a wizard with lighting, and he's incredibly creative. He also puts his absolute ALL into the day of the event. He is also so incredibly flexible and adaptable. We had a nontraditional wedding day, and Jeff very generously split his work day into two parts in three different locations for us: He joined us to capture our letter-reading coffee date in a school garden, drove a few blocks to a church to shoot our super intimate small Catholic wedding, took a lunch break at home editing these photos, then went back out to our venue for our "2nd" ceremony and reception for 130 people. Honestly, as the bride on the day of my wedding (with jam-packed plans from 8am to 9pm), Jeff was the most comforting person to have by my side. He worked with our coordinator/DJ to guide us to stay on track timeline-wise. He somehow ran around SO FAST but also made me feel so calm. Overall, Jeff is a fantastic human who matches your vibe, and his work is incredible. He knows what he is doing, does it efficiently, and is a joy to watch in action. His prices are well worth it! His work exceeded our wildest expectations! read more

It is important for Jeff to get to know his couples, he met with us a few times and was very organized and helpful in charting a plan to make sure all our important moments were captured. Jeff made it abundantly clear that he will go above and beyond to make your day exactly how you want it. Reasonable rates and a quick turnaround of the photos. No hesitation in recommending and using Jeff's services again. read more

From start to finish, he's communicative, prompt, and thorough. He makes certain that you're aware of his role & leaves no room for confusion. He should be duplicated because he's a gift! Highly recommend! Photographer, planner, mentor and all around lovely human being. Short answer: the photos are truly incredible. Hire him! Longer answer: We were introduced to Jeff by our venue and immediately knew he was different. We loved his portfolio and appreciated how openly he listened to how we envisioned the big day. His pre-planning help walking through the entire ceremony and reception ahead of time with us over the phone, getting clear on all the must-have shots for the day, really helped settle my nerves. He also knew the venue and staff there super well which helped everything move so smoothly. The day of he was always in exactly the right spot when we needed him for a photo, and in exactly the right spot to give positive verbal encouragement and thoughtful support we didn't even know we needed. His creative direction helped us capture such special moments so beautifully. Thank you Jeff! read more

As we began our wedding planning for the May 2021 event, trying to gauge various vendors' work and style was challenge during Covid times. We met Jeff during a potential venue tour and instantly loved his energy and clearly obvious passion toward his craft. After interviewing and reviewing the work of a few photographers, we contracted with Jeff as it was apparent his work was stellar and he was invested in the success of our day. During the final planning stages for our event, Jeff took time to meet us at the venue (new place for him) to walk through how he would approach our wedding, to clarify his efforts coordinating with the venue staff and ensure our expectations were aligned. The day of our wedding went tremendously smooth, even though we had a completely unexpected rain shower as the ceremony concluded!! Jeff, the consummate professional quickly shifted gears and had several suggestions on how to ensure we got the shots important to my wife and I. In the lead up to the ceremony, the day of our wedding and afterwards Jeff remained very engaged and stayed in contact to keep us updated on the status of our pics, even having a few "sneak peek" shots to us within a couple days! And the photos, the most important part!! The pics he took were phenomenal!!!! Jeff captured our day perfectly and provided us several stylistic options utilizing different lighting techniques that made for amazing memories of our wedding. In short, should you choose to hire Jeff for an event, you will not be disappointed and will receive a great end-product at very reasonable prices!! We highly recommend Jeff Roush Photography! read more

Jeff was one of the first photographers I worked with when I came to Boundary Oak. He was so nice and friendly! He was everywhere and so stealthy for a single shooter. He shared a photo book from that wedding back in Sept 2018 and I was blown away how amazing every picture was. So candid and unposed- felt like he really captured every moment and made our property look fantastic behind such a big day in the couples life. His work since then has only gotten more dramatic and impressive. I've been recommending Jeff to couple for years and will continue to do so. Jeff brought me a new photo book from a Sept 2021 couple and there's a picture towards the ends that sells the property and Jeff's photography. I highly recommend Jeff to any couple or family looking to do a very REAL shoot. He captured the essence of both my boys (7&9) for our Christmas pics last year as if they were right there in person. Thank you Jeff your a great vendor/ photographer and friend! read more

Jeff was wonderful to work with on our big day! Leading up to the wedding, we talked multiple times to assure that we had everything planned perfectly. I gave him a list of the photos I wanted, and he made sure to get them all! He got all of the getting ready shots for hubby and myself, detail photos of the wedding (i.e. all the decor) which I am personally super appreciative of, and just generally captured our day perfectly. I am a Videographer in the Bay Area and have met quite a few Photographers in this line of work. As soon as I met Jeff he has been one of my very favorites to work with! Even after the wedding we worked, we kept in touch to continue to inspire and encourage each other. As a vendor, you don't come across that a lot! It's so great when a vendor works amazing with others because as a Bride and Groom, you can feel confident that both creative projects that you've purchased are the best they can be! Jeff is so talented in the way he captures your whole day from the family and friends shots, to your intimate couple photos that need to be checked off the list, all while being patient and efficient as to not rush through anything. When we started planning our wedding, I didn't really know where to start. For one thing, I knew I wanted a great photographer. We had been told the day will go by so quickly & that having a great photographer helps to preserve those memories that flash before you on such an important day. I love pictures, so of course, I was in agreement with this plan. But, there are so many photographers out there...how do you choose?! To start the planning process, I went to a bridal show to get ideas flowing... I randomly started talking with Jeff. At this point, we didn't even have a venue selected or have any places in mind. Jeff was so incredibly helpful! He asked questions about what kinds of places we envisioned and made great suggestions for us to check out! Since we didn't even have a venue, date or any other important details nailed down yet, I couldn't even begin talking with Jeff about our photography needs. He was very understanding and suggested we touch base in a few weeks. We went on with the planning and a few weeks later received an email from Jeff touching base. I appreciated that Jeff wasn't pushy but was able to causally check in to see if we were ready to talk photography. At this point, we had a venue and a date...yay!! So my fiancé and I planned a meeting with him. We felt comfortable with him right away! He was energetic and easy to talk to! He showed us examples of his work and we were amazed at some of the beautiful moments he had captured! He also seemed to work on educating himself on new photography techniques, which made us feel comfortable that we had a skilled photographer on our hands! We left that meeting feeling like we found our photographer! Fast forward to the planning phases the weeks before the wedding...Jeff was organized and kept me on track (I tend to plan and possibly overplan haha)...Jeff kept me focused with the information that he needed to execute capturing our day! Finally, the day had come and Jeff did not disappoint! He was everywhere there was something important to capture! We absolutely LOVED our photos! They captured the day, our personalities and that of our friends and families perfectly! Jeff was focused and alert, always looking for those memorable shots. Let me tell you, the day does go by in an instant and we are so incredibly grateful to have the wonderful shots Jeff captured for us! Every photo tells a story (many times capturing things we didn't even see ourselves!) and all of those photos tell a beautiful story of the amazing day that it was! I wish we could go back and re-live that day again, but having these photos is the next best thing. Jeff truly did an amazing job capturing one of the most memorable days of our lives! We would recommend him as a wonderful wedding photographer and cannot thank him enough! read more

I'm not even sure exactly where to start... With my youngest child's first prom around the corner I started planning every detail of the events. I decided to host the prom pre-party and postparty for this special night. One of the very important details was setting up just the right photo backdrop for all 12 kids to take their prom pictures in our backyard. Originally I had planned to host and play photographer For the evening but quickly realized it would be nearly impossible to host 40 people at my home and be focused on taking amazing memorable portraits. I sent Jeff a message asking if this would be an events he would be interested in photographing. He responded right away and we quickly worked through a payment and plan that made sense for both of us. Jeff came out a week prior to review the planned photo site and go over final details. The day of the event Jeff arrived early and was set up in no time. We talked through the details one more time and I left the rest up to him. Jeff was awesome! He was easy-going, calm, organized, professional and very complementary of all the teens. Everyone responded very well to him and it made getting all of our shots super easy. Everything went so well that we were done with our shot list much quicker than we had anticipated because everything was so well organized. With the extra time he moved through the space and captured wonderful candids of all the families and decorative details. He really captured everything from the night. I can't say enough positive things about our experience and more than highly recommend Jeff for those special events. read more

When we spoke on the phone he was so excited about photography and shooting weddings that i knew this was the guy i wanted, someone as passionate about that day as we were. I got married in October of 2017 and Jeff made my day perfect. He captured moments i now hold very dear to my heart. This is a review by my wife: "Jeff is just AMAZING! He had shot for my sister's wedding a few years prior to my own. It was during that wedding I knew instantly that when my special day came, it was Jeff who I wanted to capture it. And that decision was made even before seeing the great quality photos! His fun and positive personality can make you so at ease. I am definitely one who shy's away when the camera is pointed at me, but with Jeff he had this special way of not making anything seem awkward. He captured beautiful photos of genuine laughs as well as warm embraces. He absolutely goes above and beyond and it is so apparent that this isn't just a job for him, but a true passion. That passion is displayed in his demeanor and his great detail in editing photos. My husband and I were so happy working with him. He took into great consideration the type of couple we are and catered that to our experience with him. He was efficient and prompt when responding to emails. He touched base with us consistently during the months leading to our wedding to discuss and finalize all our wishes and wants. He was by far one of our best Vendors.
