Very unprofessional clinic. Staff and Dr. Azer are incredibly dismissive. he shouldn't even be a Dr. with his rude bedside manner. He showed up 1 hr late for the appointment and then said he didn't see it necessary to see me, all the while not letting me even finish a sentence. This guy should have his medical license revoked. He has completed improper procedures on my fiancé causing more and more problems. After seeing numerous other professionals telling us they can't believe the procedures he has preformed on my fiancé and The outcome isn't looking good. The amount of negative reviews on the people lives he's ruined I can only hope he loses his medical license. I can see lawsuits in his future. read more

If I could put ZERO stars for this rating, I would! I have never in my 57 years had a medical practitioner treat me with such DISRESPECT!! I saw Dr. Sam Azer in July 2023 because I was having a very difficult time in menopause. I had low energy, mood swings, aches and pains, weight gain, brain fog, and thyroid issues. The purpose of my appointment was to get a referral to a menopause clinic. Dr. Azer REFUSED to give me one! He was abrupt, rude, and obviously didn't give a sh!t about my concerns or helping me. He didn't even sit down during the appointment. He stood at the door looking down at me & obviously was trying to leave as quickly as he could. He said "you're just burnt out". I knew that already! He said the only symptoms he could help me with, and the only real symptoms of menopause are hot flashes and vaginal dryness. He is UNINFORMED, RUDE, and DEMORALIZING. DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Staff are misleading and misinformed. Dr. Azer is a shady crook that takes advantage of people. Went there for fotana laser treatments. Charged me $350 for ONE session when I was told there would be several. When I went back for my second treatment he tried to charge me another $350. When I refused and told him the going rate was SIGNIFICANTLY lower than that anywhere else he kicked me out of his office. And I'm sorry but a medical professional that presents as obese, poorly dressed, serious lack of proper hygiene and incapable of comprehending simple conversation is a disgrace. DO NOT SEE THIS PHYSICIAN!! Instead of going into great detail about this person, how about I just tell you what has happened during the past few months. First, the wife starts bleeding heavily during the long weekend of Easter 2012. At first it was light and then got really bad. She was experiencing cramps so bad that at times, she was hunched over in the fetal position and in tears. It was so bad that one day, she went through an entire 24 count pack of feminism pads. She was visiting family outside of the province, and wanted to wait and drive 8 hours back to Edmonton to see our family physician. I was training outside of the city at this time. After seeing our physician, she learned that Dr. Azer kept an office within the same building. Her first visit, fast and furious, and they set a date in June for several tests, including a biopsy and a DNC. At that time, he prescribed her T3's and Tor-idol for the pain and up to 4 birth control daily for the bleeding. In her eyes, she wanted a full out hysterectomy and was not going to take no for an answer.The time between when she first saw him and the hospital date was 5 weeks. DO NOT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT OF FORT SASK FOR 2 EMERGENCY VISITS, WHILE SHE WAS IN PAIN!! The wife had to make an appointment a week before the hospital date, because she knew nothing about his plans were. It was explained that we had 3 options - 1) burning the uterus walls by microwaves; 2) adding an IUD; 3) or both. It was explained to us that he would NOT use the IUD for fear of the uterine walls collapsing and then having to have the IUD surgically removed. The date of the hospital visit was a nightmare! First, we were not told where to go and since we were told that he does most of his procedures out of Fort Sask - we went straight there. After fighting with the "help desk" at the front, we found out that he scheduled us to see him at the clinic in LAMONTE!! So not only did we drive 30minutes to Fort Sask from the base ........ but now add ANOTHER 30 minutes to Lamonte. The appointment was no better! A good thing for us, was that the clinic was already running 30 minutes behind, so we waited about another 35 minutes. The appointment was no more then 10 minutes, and the only thing done was a quick swab and visual inspection. Here it is almost 30 days later, and we have learned from the family physician that Dr. Azer has supposedly done a DNC too?! Aren't women supposed to be put out for that??!! Doesn't it take longer then 10 minutes?!? We had an appointment with him on the day of this review and ....... 1) didn't let the office know till almost 30 minutes AFTER his first appointment, which was 2 infront of us,that he was running late, and THEN decided to cancel ALL his appointments an hour after that because he was in the hospital with a family with birth complications (THAT is understandable). 2) next appointment to actually get those result is now AUGUST 5th ......... meaning that my wife continues to bleed on a daily basis and is taking up to 6 x T3's DAILY along with 2 birth control and atleast a shot of Tor-idol once a week!!! So let's recap ............ April to July is how long?! We ARE looking elsewhere for someone else to deal with problem. Don't believe me? Amazing gyno. I've seen him for years. Knows his stuff. He's informative and very caring. He also delivered my son.

Let's start off by saying a monkey could do a better job. I was 20 weeks pregnant when I found out I was pregnant. No signs no symptoms nothing. So with only 4 mths left I went and saw Dr Azer. I explained how scared I was for I had been drinking during that time. Not heavily but still had done it. I had also told hi. Of other things I probably should not have been doing..... Roller coasters, the odd cigarette here and there, heavy lifting while moving, etc. He just said " you'll be fine " No exam, no questions nothing, he just had all the answers. He then sends me for blood work to confirm my babies health. NEVER DID HE TELL ME IT WAS A TIME SENSITIVE TEST THAT MUST BE DONE BEFORE 22 weeks !!! So needless to say the one test that would have put my mind at ease was never done. I then mentioned on a couple of occasions how much pelvic pain I was in, again no exam, no questions just " that's normal " I spoke with many ladies who had had children, they all said the same thing. The pain should not be that severe meaning out of 10 I was a 35 and it should never be constant everyday every minute. I later found out it was SPD SYMPHYSIS PUBIC DYSFUNCTION. which is severe should be treated and can cause problems during delivery. " but I'll be fine " I have missed out on so many tests due to him not doing his job. I'm terrified for my babies health. This man should not be a doctor. And don't even get me started on him keeping appointments. Since November 2015 I've had 8 appointments, I've gone to 2 cause he's always cancelling. Saying it's due to emergency surgery, but when I see him and ask him how his surgery went he has no idea what I'm talking about. If your having a baby please don't go to Dr Azer. If you can drive the distance to Sherwood park or Edmonton or even St. Albert. read more
